What is a Friend?
What I define a "friend" is that they don't let you do certain things such as in fighting and really obnoxious things. I believe a friend doesn't let you outside in the streets if you and your mom argued or that they will always be there for you when you and your boyfriend break up. I believe my friends will share their food with me and share with me their 10$ with me when we go buy McDonald's. That they will tell me if I look ridiculous in what i'm wearing. Also, that they won't talk behind my back and then make my other friends not like me nor talk to me. A friend will also help me pass all my grades and not let me get influenced by bad things such as in smoking or drinking behind my mother's back. If my friend ever needed

Friendship is a loving relationship between a human and another human or animal. They are based on mutual honest respect in between two or more individuals. Human friendships are the most common and they are considered as one of the most valuable things in life. If you try to live your life without any friends or not talking to anybody, you will go crazy, and you will never experience what a wonderful feeling it is to have someone beside you that you can trust with anything, have fun with, and know that this person is special for you. In a friendship you are comfortable with the other person and you want to spend time with them. Having a friend is always good because you have someone to rely on and you have companionship.
They always will say on your side and help you whenever you have a problem or they will two make you make bad to good choices. They can also help you with your problems and anything that happens. Such as relationship advice, school work , drama in school, or things that happen with your family. I believe that everybody should have friends no matter what. Everybody deserves trust and a good friend who would always be there for you and will never let you down. Friends, will always be there for you , but you just need to find a real friend who you can trust and enjoy their company and have similarities.

In order to get through life, we as humans require a form of partnership. While this could come from a sibling or parent, it commonly occurs in what we refer to as friends. Two friends share a bond of mutual affection that they demonstrate though their actions. This manifestation of companionship is vital to emotional growth. A best friend can also provide emotional support and encouragement in both difficult and successful times. Most, if not all people crave this type of fellowship. In order to select a friend, one must carefully consider a person's character. Therefore, in order to fit the description of a best friend, one must be thoughtful, encouraging, and kind.
Throughout our lives we encounter many people. A person can come and go in an instant. But some individuals stick with you, and you stick with them and eventually become friends. There are many different ideas of what friendship is and what it means. A friend is more than just a person who you like and enjoy being with. A true friend must love unconditionally, be trusted, and show understanding.
The film Boys Don’t Cry, revolves around the life of a transgender person, Brandon Teena, and his life and eventual murder. The film begins with Brandon and his cousin Lonny at a skating rink, where Brandon meets a young girl. Later they are seen making out as he drops her off at her house, it cuts to Brandon being chased by people who are apparently related to the girl yelling homomorphic slurs and threatening her. Her and her cousin, who is also gay hideout in their trailer and it is relived that Brandon is not a boy but actually a girl. The argument between her and her cousin reveal Brandon no longer believes that he is a boy, and that even his mother used to “lock her up” presumably because of her transgender behavior. Brandon’s cousin
Firstly, having a friendship means a state of mutual trust and support between groups of people. (Oxford University Press, 2017)In reality, friendship means friends can see through the pain and suffering even when individuals are trying to fool the world with a fake smile. They bring out the better half of us. Also, they tend to know more about you than you know about yourself. A friendship is normally formed at an early age, but as people grow older and wiser, the word becomes more defined. The word is not commonly used as
Friendship is not simply a "relationship", knowing someone, conversing with that person, or dealing with that person in business, school, or in casual acquaintance. True friendship is not just a "relationship", but self-sacrificing love. A friend is also one who supports, sympathizes, and is a person in whom you can confide. There are unique qualities that a person must have to be considered a friend.
A dictionary contains a definition of friendship somewhere in the F’s between the words “fear” and “Friday.” An encyclopedia supplies interesting facts on friendship. But all the definitions and facts do not convey what friendship is really all about. It cannot be understood through words or exaggerations. The only way to understand friendship is through experience. It is an experience that involves all the senses.
The word friendship has many different meanings , but my favorite is the emotions or conduct of friends; the state of being friends. Basically, friends are just other humans you meet and think “hey, I like this one!” then you guys just start hanging out and doing stuff together. You can't live your whole life without having one single friend.
When you were still in the kindergarten, friends were the people who romped about with you, played mischievous tricks upon everyone. When you were getting bigger, perhaps at primary school, friends were the people who helped you in your homework, who sung with you at the school choir. Had you forgotten them? Had you betrayed them? Are you a good friend to your friends? A true friend would always tell you the truth, be you best partner when you need him, most of all, support you.
When you have a friend and you are spending time with them, do you realize you are usually in the same mood as they are at that moment? To me, that is true friendship because it shows that you enjoy spending time together and what makes your friend happy/sad will do the same for you. True friends/best friends will never turn their backs on you for anything. People will always talk bad about you at some point in your life and if your real friends are with them, they won't turn their backs and join in on the conversation. This is because they should simply know better to walk away or even ask them to stop the conversation when they are in the same atmosphere. Many people have many different types of friends and I believe this goes with the saying, “all types of people make the world go round.” As a child, I grew up having morals and respect not only for my friends, but also for others that were in my surrounding areas. My parents really taught me the values of friendship and I never really understood why until I got older. I always would question myself why they would value it so much as well. Until one night, as I was laying in bed I began to think deeply and finally came up with an answer. Friendship is what makes people who they are because without friends what would we really have to keep us sane at times? Nothing. One could have multiple definitions of what a true friend could be, but to me, a real friend is trustworthy, supportive, and also a role model. I choose these
A true friend will always be there for you. No matter how immense or diminutive the problem may be, true friends will be the first ones there. If somebody is having trouble understanding their homework, a friend will be there to help that person understand that material. When someone is feeling down and not having a great day, a friend will try to cheer you up by acting silly. A great friend will always try to be the first ones there, regardless of the situation. This is what separates a friend from a genuine friend.
