Life is delicate and can be cut short at anytime. There are some that are so focused on money and climbing the ranks that they miss out on experiencing the various opportunities life gives them. Instead of living, they merely exist and often become blinded to the fact that their life and educational goals are one in the same. They lose the social interaction from the outside world and become secluded. As for me, my life aspiration is to be happy with what I do, who I am, and live life to the fullest. Not taking one moment for granted and being grateful for everything I have. For me, I believe the key to enjoying life is making the best of what I have at the moment and showing gratitude towards the ones I meet outside of my career. Spending time with family and friends helps reconnect me with the world and enjoy the ones that surround me. Also, I try not to let one mistake affect me to the point where the fear of making an error prevents me from growing and becoming better. Of course, mistakes happen, but they do not define me as a person nor do they dictate my life. Life is too beautiful to not be happy and I plan to enjoy every moment until the

Susan Wolf’s article “Meaning in Life” addresses the debate question, Does life has meaning? Wolf’s position on the debate is the affirmative. She believes life has meaning as long as they meet certain criteria. That leads to the second debate question: What gives life meaning? Wolf’s position on this is that “meaningful lives are lives of active engagement in projects of worth” (Wolf 232). This position is also the basis of her main argument.

It is an amazing gift to be alive, but many people don't see it that way. Most people actually live their lives without really living. They put their lives in other people's hands. They are afraid to really live, and without really living, they don't experience. Without experience, they don't learn and grow. When we really live, we have so much love to give to others. With all that love, we experience what it means to fully live. To be a loving individual is an incredible experience, and the time to start the journey to having a beautiful, fulfilling life would be right now.
Writing is something I don't really enjoy doing. Transferring my thoughts to paper as clearly as possible is difficult for me. In the past, the goal of my previous teachers was to make sure I knew how to write but didn’t make sure I knew how to write well. My meaning of writing well would be using correct grammar, fluency and a clear understanding. I believe if you have to question what someone wrote then it wasn’t written very well. The question is who am I to judge another’s writing?
What makes life worth living? Love, excitement, knowledge, or even aiding others show prime examples of answers that come to the mind. Albert Camus states a very different opinion to the world within his novel “The plague.” In this novel Camus speaks about a small city called Oran. In this city the seasons rarely change and everyone settles for what they have and demonstrate almost a complete feeling of contentedness in their everyday lives. In the novel he also shows that the saying “you don’t know what you have until it’s gone,” may ring true in many cases. Camus shows that people show the actions of contentedness in their ways and don’t realize what they have until time has run out by explaining the functions of the people in Oran, showing

What does it mean to live? Is it simply to eat, work, sleep, and repeat? Is that going to be enough of a reason by the time one is retired and is in “integrity versus despair” stage of life as Erik Erikson describes in the final stage of his psychological development theory? Personally, I disagree. I believe in order for life to have any meaning, one needs to create and achieve goals that impact the world around them. As I see it, realizing one’s potential and setting realistic goals based on that potential is the key to developing integrity rather than despair later in life.
Life is a crazy journey filled with excitement, horror, and love. This only defines life in general, how are we supposed to live it? Partying may be one way for most college kids, while travelling is another way for a business man. So what exactly is "living"? Zadie Smith author of “Speaking in Tongues” says she travels and always has had to adapt to her surroundings. Like in her college years where she had to change her tongue to fit in, that’s her form of adapting, or living. While Jeanette Winterson author of “The World and Other Places” notes that the narrator of her text lives by flying and getting away from everyone. How could he enjoy himself, by only being alone without friends. Doing things alone
