In today’s world a beautiful person is categorized as someone who has a pretty face, a nice butt, and a sexy body. The media constantly displays their image of what they feel beauty is supposed to look like. Only focusing on the exterior when there are many other components that make a person beautiful. Society’s perception of what beauty is causes people to lack confidence and as a result, encourages them to fit in instead of wanting to stand out. Beauty is defined by a combination of qualities present in a thing or person that pleases the aesthetic senses or brings about deep satisfaction. Many people automatically feel like that definition is meant to describe a person’s outward appearance. Although it is true a person’s outward appearance can be defined by the term beauty, true beauty lies in the way a person acts and thinks rather than the way they look.

Being intelligent does not necessarily mean being a valedictorian, and knowing every little thing about the world. Being intelligent means being intellectually compatible with whomever you are conversing with and having to think and say something that is logically comprehendible. Nobody likes to date a fairly ignorant man or woman who is unable to hold an intellectual conversation or at least, who plays dumb just to appear cute. Everyone would definitely want to be with someone that they can talk to about any and everything under the sun with logic. Men become attracted to a woman who can speak for herself and who can exchange ideas, which promotes the idea of learning from each other. Men also like it when women talk with substance and things that make sense. It works both ways as women are attracted by the same thing.
