Honesty “is the refusal to fake reality—i.e., to pretend that facts are other than they are.”1 It can be described as the flip side of rationality: Whereas rationality is the commitment to think, judge, and act with respect to the relevant facts, honesty is the commitment not to do otherwise.” Honesty is by definition the quality of being honest

Humans lie by nature as a part of our nature is to sin, now if you claim to of never lied then that in itself is a lie. Humans as a whole are constantly striving for what they consider as a better world or good, now that in and of itself is a pretty idea if some of the parts of the whole human community didn’t lie or cheat others for personal gain.

Those with good virtues will tend to make good choices meanwhile those of other than good character will make choices based off of making them happy in that apparent moment not really thinking of the future. …show more content…

the whole truth being “Sally woke up late” but instead they claim that the traffic is horrible and they’re on their way. This simple not whole truth could lead to issues in the future when addressed such as them really being stuck in traffic but not being believed in the slightest when they say this.
