Personal Change Model In the design industry, where clients can drop you at anytime, Cre8Deisgn depends upon an operational system flow to exceed time and creative expectations in order to deliver excellent deigns that attract for the future clients. Cre8Design is a design studio focused on graphic design, visualization, product design, webpage design, and much more. Unfortunately, clients have been criticizing the lack of coordination with their design services. The client is contact by the administrator in addition to other various other members of the Cre8Design team, each providing a different set of opinions regarding their product or service. The client is unable to clearly understand the progress of their product or service with so many varying remarks (see appendix 1). (Cre8Design, 2014) (Anderson, 2015) The organization has an issue with collaboration, specifically the administrator’s ability to lead a client and the creative subordinates through a project effectively. In addition, the organizations had a group dynamic issue that affects communication networks and teamwork capabilities. The situation’s organizational behavior issues fed into the efficiency of system wide operations. The administrator needs to be assessed for leadership capabilities and has a duty to develop competency in order to lead the team all through intervention activities and maintain the concepts after intervention completion. Leadership is a crucial quality in both academic and corporate settings. The leader acts as an anchor of the team. He sets direction, builds an inspiring vision, and monitors the work process. Leadership can be built since young ages, which often started in an academic environment. Every group project demands a leader to help smooth out the activity, which include my ENGL 202D group project. Everyone in the team designates Stefan Horgas to be the team’s leader because he is a part of the Ice Lions club and has a deep knowledge in ice hockey field. Stefan perfectly performs his role as a leader. He not only creates and sends out work documents, but also verifies and answers any club’s related questions. His actions made the team operate efficiently
The leader must be sure to take the group dynamics into consideration. It is important to make everyone involved feel that their needs are important. For the project to be a success, everyone participating must feel as if they are contributing and that they are being valued equally.

The team leader’s ability to manage and improve team performance will be limited by his or her own authority and ability to influence others. There may be restrictions in terms of organisational policy; there may be financial, resource, or time constraints, or team members themselves may be reluctant to participate and to accept change.
Clear responsibilities and roles, the structure of the team, job descriptions, competencies, accountabilities, resources, tools and equipment should all be provided. Problem solving, communicating, managing conflicts, tasks, planning meetings, performance evaluation, managing change and decision making should follow clear procedures ensuring effective team working. Positive relationships, mutual respect and trust, continuing support and inclusion, valuing diversity and listening to feedback can overcome challenges to effective team performance. A strong credible leader with clear expectations can also overcome challenges to an effective team.

In taking command of an organization, the commander needs to understand how the entire organization works; the synergistic effect of all its parts. Unlike the staff officer who may focus on the part of a problem relevant to his/her function and the efficiency of his/her section, the commander must have a holistic perception of the issue. The commander’s thinking must now shift more focus to the conceptual level of
However, diversity of the group is not managed properly and conflicts are not handled effectively because of poor communication. There is a serious degree of trust problem in the team. For example, Merz has not much confidence in team members’ competence and she is not believing in their ability to deliver the product. Therefore, we can’t talk about a team efficacy for this team. Everyone asserts his/her expertise and experience but no one regards and trust each other’s. Lastly evaluation system of performance of the employees is a serious problem. While they were working both in the project and in their functional areas, they were evaluated only on the basis of performance on their functional area. This situation definitely destroys motivation of the team.
In situations where roles are vague or time is limited, this leadership style can lead to communication failures and uncompleted projects. Sometimes the group members may not have the necessary expertise to make quality contributions to the decision-making process.
The traditional change model consists of three steps: unfreezing, that is, recognizing the need for change because of some event or threat, the actual change actions and refreezing, that is, incorporating new ways of operating, and thinking into the everyday operations of the organization. Apply this model to the situation at the Coca-Cola Company at the point when the lawsuit was served in 1999.
In today's society some corporations have achieved success by replacing the hierarchical boss-subordinate relationship with that of an empowered work team. Many corporations know the value of a high-performance team. A high-performance team has a great deal to offer to the organization. In a team environment, people are not managed, controlled or supervised. They are led by their mutual vision of the organization's purpose and goals. Teams surpass individuals working alone, especially when performance requires several abilities, verdict, and active involvement...
The leadership styles adopted by both executive and team managers’ levels within Computime more or less follow John Adair’s simple Action-Centred Leadership model. This model emphasizes that to be effective in achieving organizational goals, there is a clear need for team managers to continuously keep a balance between the task itself, the team and the individual. From this model, it is understood that the leader needs to build overall team morale, improve on the quality of solutions offered and also continually develop the team.
Realizing that a group can become a high performance team is important. Accomplishing this goal is invaluable, advantageous and profitable. Once able to operate from a group to the high performing team is a great step into preparation into the big business world. Leaders and members must also realize not only how to accomplish this but that some problems will and can arise from different demographic characteristics and cultural diversity. That is if one is in such a group, which the probability would be quite high.
The nature of an effective a senior leadership team (SLT) will be the topic of this essay. The idea of team work and various models of SLT will be covered linking their roles, strategy, values and pitfalls. I will interlace this essay with some personal experience and relevant literature Belbin and Fullan to conclude through an historical analogy, my personal understanding of what SL T represents.
