I've used several different laundry bags for washing over the years and have to say these Delicates Laundry Bags from Inside Smarts are by far my favorite! I put these through quite a test, too! See the photos I attached below to follow along with my testing. Obviously, the majority of the time I will use these laundry bags for my most delicate and intimate washables, but I wanted to test how these bags from Inside Smarts really held up, so I filled them with kitchen dish towels. I decided to use dish towels in my testing because they are definitely heavier than most of the types of items I will wash in the bags, but just in case I ever wanted to wash a sweater I figured the dish towels would also give me somewhat of an idea of that experience, too. …show more content…
I filled the large black laundry bag (16" X 19") with eight dish towels and one of the white medium laundry bags (12" X 15") with four dish towels. Each dish towel I used measured approximately 26" x 15". I washed both bags together in hot water using the normal regular wash cycle setting on my washing machine. According to the directions, you are to tuck the zipper pull on the laundry bag inside the elastic "Smart-Guard" (see photo below). I did tuck in the zipper pull on the large bag, however, I purposely didn't do this on the medium bag. As you can see from my photos below, all of the dish towels fell out of the medium white bag, therefore, I highly recommend you don't forget to tuck in the zipper
Abstract: The overall question that was trying to be answered during this experiment was: Which paper towel brand is the strongest? Before completing the experiment, the hypothesis was that out of Bounty, Brawny and Sparkle, Bounty would be the strongest paper towel.

This one seems almost too silly to believe, and yet it's been suggested by multiple reputable sites. Thankfully, it's been tested multiple times. One study at the North Carolina State University found that bags like this actually attracted more mosquitoes! And the infamous “Mythbusters” tested this one, only to find that the bags really made no difference one way or
The results of the experiment for the test of absorbency were that the Sparkle brand proved to be the most absorbent. The average amount of liquid that the Sparkle brand paper towel held was 17.4 mL, which was 4.6 mL more than the Decorator brand held. The Decorator brand only held 12.8 of liquid.
Washing these is a breeze. Just put the entire shoe in the washing machine and air dry.
This has, if you can believe it, become one of my favourite people watching places. Laundry tells a lot about a person. I don’t mean just the answer to the boxers or briefs question. There are a lot of things you can pick up about a person by watching how they do their laundry. Some people measure the laundry soap meticulously. Others, my self included, just pour in enough to get the job done. The exact amount is never all that important

Does your significant other complain every time you drop a dish into the dishwasher without rinsing it first? Good news -- they're wrong! People rinse dishes to remove any food debris before the dishwasher's drying cycle bakes it on. It seems, however, that rinsing the dishes is actually detrimental. Dishwasher detergent is designed to cut through food debris. When there is no food waste present, it powers through your glassware instead. Although you certainly don't want to put chunks of food in your dishwasher, it's actually beneficial to leave the milk ring in the bottom of your glass rather than rinsing it away before popping the glass into the
When you come to the paper towel aisle in the grocery store do you ever get frustrated and annoyed by all the brands to choose from? Every brand is telling you that they are the strongest and that their brand will absorb the fastest. Have you ever actually taken the time to figure out which brand is indomitable and absorbs the quickest? Well today I will fill you in on this mysterious secret and tell you not only which brand is not lying to you but also which brand you are getting your money’s worth and if paying that extra dollar is worth the name brand I think that the most expensive paper towel will be the strongest based on an ice cube suspended over a paper towel over a bowl held by a rubber band.

The duvet covers are an integral part of the bedding. The covers not just make the bed look beautiful but it also helps in protecting the duvets. The duvets are used every day so they need to be washed frequently in order to be kept clean. As an everyday used item the duvets can absorb a lot of dust and also spills. If the duvet is not cleaned and it keeps on absorbing dust and moisture, then it can become the home of several germs.
“Quality items that stand the test of time – it is this concept of sustainability, symbolized by a timeless handbag that you wear again and again, and can pass on, that I am always thinking of when I design.” Says Frida Gianni
With three kids under 10 in the house, and a husband who works two jobs, laundry is an never-ending, on-going chore. Every time I turn around I think the laundry has doubled. This is especially true in the summertime when the kids go out to the pool a few hundred times a day. While laundry can be a daunting task, it can also be a costly task. Here are a few ways I save money while doing laundry: 1. I buy name brand detergent that is on sale and I have a coupon for it. It is my personal opinion from my own observation that the cheaper stuff just doesn 't do as good of a job as the name-brand stuff. By checking the sales ads I can usually find Wisk, Gain, or even Tide on sale. CVS usually runs Buy One Get One Free sales on these items. I use two coupons and get a great deal. I try to never spend more than $2.50 per bottle or box for name brand detergent. 2. Use the cap or the scoop that comes with the detergent appropriately. Notice that there are littles lines or notches on the cup or scoop with a number. These lines indicate the load size of the laundry you are doing. For many, many people they just assume that 1 load= 1 full cup of detergent. Use the appropriate amount of soap per load, don 't just dump a full cup in there blindly. 3. I actually use 1/2 of the recommended amount from the detergent cup. If I have a small load, I fill up the cup 1/2 of the way to line 1. If I have a medium load, I fill up to the 1 line. I never, ever use more than 1/2 of the cup for even
