On 02/26/2017 I, Deputy Daniel Pruitt was dispacthed to 18525 South 80th West Aveune for a burglary in progress. I arrived on scene with Deputy John Arnold to locate the caller. I observed a male later identifed as Rex Rowan standing in his front yard waving a black pistol in the air. Deputy Arnold and I order Rex to drop the gun and after several verbal commands Rex dropped the weapon on the ground. Rex was yelling "there getting away" and was pointing behind myself and Deputy Arnold. I did not observe any persons at this location. I did not see any signs of any other persons outside the home were Rex was pointing. Deputy Arnold secured the weapon that Rex was holding. I checked inside the home and did not find any other persons or any signs
On August 24, 2015 at approximately 6:40 pm. Officer responded to shots fird complaint in the North Mclemore and Lark Street area. Officer loacated two subjects that had been shot and two otheer subjects uninjured.One subject (Cedrick Person) had been fatally wounded from multiple gun shots. The other injured subject was his son (Marquis Person) had what appeared to be a single gunshot wound in the shoulder area. The shooting stemed from an altercation that occurred earilier that same day. After further investigationg the case, investigaters learned that Lakendrick Deberry was possibly the shooter in this incident. Arrest warrats were issued for Lakendrick Deberry for !st Degree Homicide, Attempted !st Degree Homicide and possessing a firearm
On 010/05/2016, I, Chad Agnew, was working as a patrol officer for the Wichita State University Police Department, in Wichita, Sedgwick County, Kansas. At approximately1415 hours, officers were dispatched to the Rhatigan Student Center for a suspicious character. Dispatch notified all officers that they were still gathering more information at the time but the suspicious character was a black male with crutches. They also said the subject was yelling someone had a gun.
Defendant MOS Horne and Jarvis were seated in a parked car and observed Ramarley Graham and 2 unapprehended males (non-parties). MOS Horne stated that he observed Ramarley Graham holding his waistband area and Ramarley Graham and the 2 males entered a bodega and looked around and quickly exited it. MOS Horne and Jarvis followed them in their car and put their description over the radio and stated one possibly armed. MOS Horne observed them attempting to gain entry to into various buildings. The 2 males were able to gain entrance into 728 East 229th Street, and waved to Ramarley Graham over. Then, 2 uniformed officers passed the location. On Wednesday, March 2th, 2016 at approximately 2024hours while driving a marked Midland Police vehicle and wearing a standard MPD issued uniform Officer Beltran and Officer Jimenez were dispatched to 509 S. Clay st in reference to a disturbance. Upon arrival Officers made contact with a subject who was later identified as Jazmine Nicole Hyder(B/F/-DOB04/30/1994). Hyder, who was standing outside the residence located in the 503 block of South Clay told Officers that she was being chased by a subject with a gun, who was later identified as Khalid Mcmaryion(B/M-DOB03/20/1996). Hyder told Officers that Mcmaryion was inside his house located in 509 South Clay byhimself.

I, Deputy Daniel Pruitt spoke to a Steve Craine who stated on 06/06/2017 he saw a small silver SUV on his property. Steve stated the SUV was pulling a red 1970's model truck bed as a trailer. Steve stated he saw a white male drving and a female passenger. Steve stated the subjects were loading items from his property. Steve stated the subjects dropped all the items. Steve stated the subjects went to his neiybors Craig Chaffin's house at 25004 West 49th Street. Craig stated a female named Emma Hogen and a white male named Jerry came to his shop. Craig stated Emma and Jerry were trying to sell items out of a red truck bed. Craig stated Emma and Jerry wanted $300.00 dollars for the whole trailer full of property. Craig stated he paid Emma and Jerry $200.00 dollars and $100.00 was a check he wrote to Emma. Craig stated Emma and Craig left in a silve Geo Tracker SUV. I
On 01/06/2017 I, Deputy Daniel Pruitt was dispatched to 14128 South 185th West Place for EMS assist with a male subject unresponsive.. Dispatch called while I was enroute to the assit and advised the male had passed away.
On 06/04/2017 I, Deputy Daniel Pruitt was dispatched to a juvnile compliant at 20503 West 81st Street. I spoke to Clayton Smith who stated he got into an argument with his parents Holly Brown abd Timothy Smith.
Deputy’s Assignment: I was dispatched to 10608 West 73rd Street on Monday, December 11th, 2017 for a larceny complaint. I spoke to Jimmy Holman who said his vehicle was broken into and items missing.
Upon our arrival, Officer Ramirez and I witnessed the front door to the residence had been forcibly opened and was left wide open. The door frame was broken off and the deadbolt lock was still engaged. On 04/19/2016 I, Deputy Daniel Pruitt was dispatched to 24010 West 105th Street South for a runaway complaint.
Erik Ayala had purchased the murder weapon, a 9-milimeter pistol, from 99 Pawn & Guns on January 9, 2009 (ER 3, Memo in Opp, Ex. D, Depo of David Kartchner, 45:13 to 47:18; ER 42-46, Exhibit 1 attached to Kartchner Affidavit). The 99 Pawn & Guns employee that sold Erik Ayala was David Kartchner (Memo in Opp, Ex. D, Depo of David Kartchner, 45:13 to 47:18; ER 41-46. Memo in Opp, Ex. G. BATF Form 4473). When Mr. Kartchner submitted a background check to the Oregon State Police for approval, the Oregon State Police issued a two-day hold on the purchase (ER 45-48). Despite the two-day hold order by the Oregon State Police, Mr. Kartchner did not delay the sale and sold the gun to Erik Ayala on January 9, 2009 (ER 47).
