Introduction: a lot of business uses market research, to collect information to help them provided a suitable and a sustainable marketing product or service. To attract customers interest in order to make their business more success able. Primary research: this is information which is collected from scratch, as company gather primary research based on their research feedback. They get from the date which company team members produces, this is a primary effort because new fresh data which has been collected is done first handed. Surveys: this is the most common frequent type of method which most companies uses to collect market research. By using survey this type of research helps companies to involve uses of questionnaires. Which give them the advantage of selecting the type of questions they want to ask their consumers. Also selecting their target market audiences aimed for that particular product or service to give out to consumers. This helps companies to collect consumer’s opinions from a wider range of age category. Face to face: This type of research is mostly used by big companies like electric and gas company such British gas, N power and charities. Many organisation uses face to face research, as this enable the researcher to have a two way communication with the consumer. Collecting date face to face allows the experience researcher. To find out more detail about the consumer therefore this enables the researcher to access, other sensitive information such as personal details. This is a flexible method of research as it answers consumer’s questions and helps to persuade them to sign up for the service or the produce. Advantage of having face to face the researcher is able to note consumer facial expressions and feedback given.
