“I don’t want to ride my bike without training wheels,” I screamed. One super sunny summer afternoon, my aunt JoAnn and I went outside to enjoy the beautiful day. At first we were just sitting on the porch watching the cars drive down the street. As more time passed, I got bored and decided to ride my bike. Of course my bike still had the training wheels on it. I was only about five or six years old at the time but I was tall for my age. My aunt would always laugh when she saw my bringing my bike out to ride it. “Girl you are too big too be riding a bike with training wheels,” she yelled to me. I just smiled at her and continued to pull my bike out. My bike was so pretty. It was pink and purple with white letters. The letters spelled the word Barbie. On the handlebars were purple and pink streamers and they had glitter in them. I started to ride my bike down all the hills that I could. I was having so much fun until my aunt brought up my training wheels. She kept talking about taking them off but I would just ignore her and continue to ride my bike. I did not like the idea of taking the training wheels off. I got off my bike and went back and sat on the porch. I started to watch the cars go up and down the street again. As more cars came down the street I saw a jeep that looked like my dad’s. In the inside I was hoping that it was him so he could take me with him. He was him but he did not come to take me with him. “Hey princess,” my dad said “What’s wrong?” “My tete wants to take my training wheels off but I like them on my bike.” “ You need to.” “ I don’t want to,” I said stomping into the house with an attitude. I walked right into the living room , sat down and cried. I was as mad as a hungry baby*. I just did not understand why I needed my training wheels off. I sat there thinking for about five minutes. Then I got up wiped my face and was headed for the door. I went back outside hoping no one will say anything about my training wheels. I got back on my bike and started having fun all over again. All of a sudden, I hit a dip in the sidewalk and it made my training wheel lift up into the air. I hurried to get off my bike and tried to fix it. I could not fix it and I was

So, we get all geared up in proper clothing because it was cold out and off we went.

One summer day in July , Me and my friend Carol went to an amusement park called Cedar Point . Cedar Point is located in Sandusky , Ohio and two and a half hours away . My mom and me wanted to go on a ride called the Maverick . The Maverick is Cedar Point’s steepest roller coaster and its speed is 70 miles per hour . The Maverick also has a 95 degree drop ! Then we went in line and waited for about an hour and a half . It was about eleven o'clock when we got close to the front of the line . When we finally got to the roller coaster I regretted going on because it was very dark and I couldn't see where the drop was and I don’t like steep roller coasters . Because of that me and Carol where panicking the whole way up . As soon as we got to the

I have come to love bicycles in the course of the past year. I am especially fond of mountain bikes, including my own. Riding it opens up a whole new world of opportunities and challenges for me. I am still fairly fresh to the whole mountain biking scene, so I push myself to become better with more experience. Riding is an outlet; it is something I can channel pent up energy through. I love the sport because it is a full body, soul, and mind experience that affects all five of the senses.
Later that day, my sister and I went to the track at Memorial Park. My sister was teaching me how to bike. In the beginning, I was not happy and really wanted my dad to teach me instead of my sister. I was whining a lot whenever I passed my dad, but he always ignored me. Eventually, I gave up and allowed my sister to teach me how to bike. When I was finally able to ride the bike, my sister and I rode on the track together. We were talking to each other while paying attention to the road because
