“Does anyone find it mysterious that Dr.Who has been gone for ten minutes?” exclaims Shaq. “I wonder where they are going. I think someone should go see what is really going on!” says Hulk. “Well I’m going to go find out because I don’t think anyone is going to mess with a seven foot one man that weighs three hundred and twentyfive pounds!” assured Shaq. “Good luck,” chimed in the rest of the crowd. As Shaq moved closer and closer towards the curtain his heart started to beat louder. Finally, he reached the curtain and took a peek behind it. With a blink of an eye Shaq was pulled aggressively into the darkness behind the curtain. “Oh no, not again.” murmured Hulk. “Where on God’s green earth could a huge man like him possible go without being seen? …show more content…
It all started when he was drafted first overall in 1992 draft. “What happened?” questioned Shaq. “The last thing I remember is the janitor guy pulling me behind the curtain and knocking me out. This place looks familiar?” pointed out Shaq. But before Shaq could anything else the commissioner of the NBA came out onto a stage. “With the first pick in the 1992 NBA draft, the Orlando Magic select Shaquille O’Neal from LSU.” announced the commissioner. “I can’t believe that I’m back to the place where my career started.” gloated Shaq. Shaq hugged his mom and the rest of his family, and walked up to the stage with thousands of fans cheering behind him. He was given his Orlando Magic jersey and took pictures with the commissioner. After the draft, a storm of news reporters ran towards Shaq and wanted to ask him all sorts of questions, but before they could he was gone in plain sight. Shaq was transported to his most successful team he played for, the Los Angeles Lakers. “How could I ever forget the Staples Center.” smiled Shaq. Just seconds later Shaq was greeted by Kobe Bryant and the rest of the 2002 Los Angeles Lakers

Hitler believed that propaganda from the allies was the main reason that the Germans lost during World War I and felt that this form of warfare needed to be a primary tool in modern warfare. He spoke of this belief in his book Mein Kampf well before the start of the second World War. Hitler felt that the public needed to be inundated with the ideology of the state at all times and through all mediums (Jowett and O'Donnell 2). "To do this," he said "everything from child's story-book to the last newspaper, every theater, every cinema and every advertisement must be brought into the service of this single mission" (qt. in Qualter ix). This onslaught of propaganda led to the Holocaust by leaving no other option open to the German people
One unknown to the game of basketball will assume Michael Jordan changed the game, or at least the one who made the game famous. However, before the ‘Gifted MJ’ there was one of the greatest rivalries in basketball, which raised television ratings, ergo, helped make the sport prominent. Magic Johnson and Larry bird’s rivalry was a sight to see. Magic and Bird’s contribution to basketball varies, their training techniques and personal life has led both of them to make phenomenal sport history, and everlasting legacies.

Lebron James, the first pick taken in this year’s draft, may be the prototype for an athlete having immediate fame and wealth by jumping straight to the NBA. Almost undoubtedly, he has set the bar for years to come. Before he even played in an actual NBA game, he already had his own commercial and shoe deals. When he was a senior in high school, ESPN and ESPN2 were already publicizing his regular season games whenever they had the chance. Amazingly, as a junior in high school, he was already being considered the next Michael Jordan (Broussard).
Jordan once again had something to prove to the world, that he was still the greatest basketball player to ever play the game, and that he would be even greater in the season to come. Michael Jordan
Throughout history, America has been confronted by opponents who wish to challenge its sovereignty. Over time, these challenges have been coined terrorism, and those that engage in terrorism have been known as terrorists. While allowing terrorism to thrive is an option that the leader of the free world rejects, the effects of combatting terrorism can appear to be just as damaging. As times have evolved, so has this threat of terrorism; with the evolution of terror comes the evolution of methodology in combating terror. Since its development, the nation’s rivals have campaigned to disrupt the American way of life, and though written in the Constitution, it is understandable to reason that these liberties American citizens hold so dearly must be suspended in order to successfully combat the nature of today’s threat from terror. Prevention of terror is vital in today’s age. Terrorism has plagued the nation and in an effort to prevent such acts, the nation has embraced the belief of infringing upon civil liberties in an effort to safeguard its borders from terrorism in America in the name of national security.
First, a list of his accomplishments. Kobe was drafted out of highschool at the age of seventeen, broke into the league by winning the Slam Dunk contest in his rookie season, and by age of twenty-five he was a three time world champion. He was the youngest person to be named a NBA All-Star at the age of nineteen. The combination of his talents with the talents of Shaquille O’Neal was the greatest “one-two punch” of all time. That is an objective fact. Shaq himself has even admitted that had the duo stayed together after the 2004 season, they most certainly would have gone on to win additional world championships, but Kobe didn’t need Shaq. When it was all said and done, Kobe ended up with five rings to his name to O’Neals four - all five with the Lakers I might add.
