In this essay I am aim to explore Pugin’s dissent from tradition through his ideas, inspiration, and his most important works and their meaning. At first when I looked at this painting, I thought the letter in Marat's hand was a suicide note. It just seemed odd to me that he was holding a letter in his hand if it had not been a suicide. However, the letter in Marat's hand was sent from his murderer Charlotte Corday-in fact you can see her name written on the paper if you look closely enough, but she is not painted in this piece which I also found interesting.

These grand and elegant victorian houses had complex looking exteriors and that’s likely to be by cause of the maze-like layout that creates odd shapes, the elaborate trimming, and the materials and colors used.

The place where I feel the most comfortable, and show my personality, is my bedroom. This is the place where I can really be myself and do what I want; it’s the place I come home to, and wake up every day. My room makes me feel comfortable because it is my own space. My house is always crazy, with my dog barking, and my siblings running around making noise, my room is the only place in the house where I can come and relax without caring about everything else, the only place that I can go to clear my mind.

My house is quite large. It has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen, two living rooms, a dining room, a special games room and a big front and back garden.
