Involvement of the Project team should include stakeholders that have major roles, such as those will include health care professionals. Project meetings insure that goals and guidance are on track. The use of a GANTT chart could prove beneficial at this point in the development process. The lack of stakeholder input can create costly changes in design errors and sometimes even costly renovations after the facility has opened. Whether there is active stakeholder involvement or not, there are also some barriers that could contribute to a failure in the concept of the facility. Lack of available time could contribute to the failure of the development of a facility. Not adhering to timelines also contributes to a delayed production and costlier financial pressures.
