After much deliberation on picking which TV show to do for this assignment and came to the conclusion to do it on the show Dexter (Sara & Eggle, 2006). This show is about a man named Dexter in which by day he is a mild-mannered blood-splatter analyst for the Miami police. But at night he is a serial killer who only targets other murderers. For the most part it is based on the first episode of the first season where it explains what Dexter does and why he does it. This episodes starts off by Dexter stalking his victim which is a man who teaches a choir for young boys but he also murders the young boys one at a time and as explained earlier Dexter only kills other murderers so this is a god candidate so he waits until the man gets into his car where he will be waiting for him and when he gets in he chokes the man with a wire and tell him to drive to a secluded area where deter id going to kill him. The is one of the main acts of violence in the episode and the other act is when Dexter kill a man who by day works for a valet parking service but by night he rapes and kills women and he records it …show more content…

Also according to McLeod (2007) Manifest psychologist are caused by hidden disturbances as well as typical causes include unsolved issues during development or repressed trauma, and the treatment focuses on bringing the repressed conflict to consciousness where a person can deal with
