Dhs Narrative Report

On May 23, 2016, I was assigned this case to follow up. This case involves Ms. Anjelica Cassidy Grim a 17 year old T.C. Williams High School student. I made multiple attempts to located Anjelica at School and at 27 South French Street (home). On May 27, 2016, I spoke to Sal Gnim (mother) who reported her daughter returned home the next day. She confirmed that her daughter had been out with her boyfriend. Sal told me that they had a conversation and cleared the conflict up. Sal reported that this was the first time her daughter had runaway. I received permission from Sal to speak to her daughter in School.

R/s last night, Liza and her friend Darlene Bentley were smoking marijuana and crack off of a can in a trailer park in Jefferson. R/s Liza’s daughter, Phaydra (7) was in car when Liza and Darlene were getting high. R/s Phaydra was jumping in and out of the car, running back and forth opening the doors, and calming out of the windows. R/s the trailer park is known as a drug area where drugs are being sold. R/s Liza and Darlene also pop pills. R/s Darlene’s kids are in DSS custody.

Jamita said from what she understands due to what Don told her the children’s mother’s boyfriend offered drugs to Ayanna and her friend. It is unknown if the children have access to the drugs in their home. However, Jamita said she assumes they do because Ayanna said she has seen her mother’s boyfriend weighing drugs on a scale. Jamita also said she believes drugs are being manufactured in the family’s home. According to Ayanna, she is afraid to say anything about the things going on in her mother’s home because she does not want her mother to get in trouble or be arrested. Ayanna said if someone comes out to her mother’s house she will not tell the truth about everything going on, because she said she is afraid of the back lash she and her siblings will get for telling. However, Jamita said majority of the allegations were reported to CPS by her last year. Jamita said a worker by the name of (Tasia) from the county went out to the family’s home to check on the children. Jamita said the children told Tasia everything in their home was ok because Ayanna said she interviewed them in front of their

The reporter stated on 11/19/15, the children had a forensic interview with Regan Smith, family nurse at Children’s Safe Center. The reporter stated after the interview, Ms. Smith made a recommendation that the children seek professional counseling for lack of supervision; Ms. Smith also recommended that Ms. Kiner is not capable of properly caring for the children. According to the reporter, the children are not supervised properly, they leave the home after Ms. Kiner takes Oxycodine prescribed for back pain, and they vandalize and tear up her furniture and home. The reporter stated it’s been reported by the school that the children come to school with bad hygiene and that they are not bathed properly. Ms. Little stated that the children also

Latarsha Rogers is an unfit mom she sells her food stamp for drugs and leaves the kids on other people why she going from car to car having sex for drugs such as weed powder pills She does it every time but when you all send dhs to the house they doesn't do anything because she tells them people lying on her but soon as dhs leave she beat those kids and go to Charleston and have them standing on corner while men's touch them for money. She tells the kids if they tell she is going to punch them in the mouth or drown them when she put them in the tub or she beat them with whatever she gets her hands on. PER REPORTER: Dorothy Marshall from Wayne’s County DHS reported that on 7/9/2015 at 8:50 am a call came through from the sheriff department. The person on the call reported that there were about 12 children at the home. There was not food or water at the home and the children was left there alone. Per reporter when she arrived at the home there was food and water at the home. The children were not at the home alone. Their mother was at the home with them and they all was asleep.

According to the reporter, the father (Jaylon) used to watch the children, but he does not anymore. He went to the home on 1-18-16, to get his clothes and the door was unlocked. The children were home alone, and the mother (Tanara) was at work. She is employed at Sonics in Slidell, which is 20 minutes away. Jaylon took the children to the reporter's home around 11am that morning. The paternal grandmother got the children from the reporter around 4pm that evening. It was unknown how long the children were at home alone before Jaylon went there. Kaylin asked the reporter for covers, stating that she was cold. She stated the home did not have heat. It was unknown if the home had electrical

R/s it was reported that on last night Jacob’s (16) stepfather had beaten him on the head, arms, and legs with a belt. R/s the stepfather pushed Jacob onto the table. R/s Jacob has marks and bruises on his head, arms, and legs. R/s LE has been notified and they have pictures of the Jacob’s injuries. R/s reportedly Jacob was beaten because he used the computer incorrectly. R/s Gabriel (11) is in the home. R/s the stepfather was referred to as Scooter. R/s the mother Jerri is trying to protect the child. R/s reportedly Scooter has criminal charges for domestic violence and he has an issue with drug abuse.

According to the reporter, Richard took their 2 boys last year around June. She has only seen them 2 times since then. Richard said he was going to Mississippi for a week but he didn't come back. They both have joint custody. The reporter doesn't want her children in the system but CPS will see everything she is talking about. There are a total of 6 people living in a 2 bedroom apartment. Richard sleeps on the couch. The boys sleep on pee pee and shitty pallets on the floor. The grandparents and Abiagail have their own separate rooms. Everyone (Robbie, Donna, & Richard) smokes cigarettes and weed. They smoke around the children. The boys stated their clothes smell like smoke and everyone at school makes fun of them because they smell like smoke. Drugs are not

She has broken in the reporter's shed. She broke in the first shed and stole money that the grandmother was saving. Reporter stated she asked the child what was she "hunting" for and Leenijah said a shirt. Reporter stated the child didn't have anything in the shed. Reporter stated she purchased another shed and the child used a knife to break into it. Reporter stated if Leenijah was a good child she would do anything for her but she is disobedient. Reporter stated she is too old to put up with it and wants the child out of her home. Reporter stated Leenijah doesn't mind her, dad, or anyone. Leenijah doesn't mind her teachers. They have to put her outside the classroom. Per reporter, the dad is sick of her too. She doens't mind him and she does what she wants. Leenijah doesn't want dad to say anything to her. Reporter stated Leenijah is suppose to take medicine and the kind of medicine is unknown. It is unknown if she is taking her

March 8, 2013, prior to midnight a tall tree fell near the Belhumer residence and struck the UPPCO power line causing the separation of the neutral wire at a tension splice. Dale Gatien described the tree as a very tall, hardwood tree. GDTp.12

Per Reporter: Sabrina use drugs (marijuana) around the children. The drugs are not manufactured/sold. The unknown sibling is made to go outside while Sabrina use drugs. The sibling is left outside alone. Sabrina cares for Katlen while Kayla attends school. Sabrina has mental and physical limitations; Sabrina is disabled. A month ago, a knot was noticed on Katlen’s head; there was a red mark on her forehead. According to the family it was only a scratch; however, the neighbor (unknown) stated Sabrina dropped Katlen. The children have adequate clothing and food in the home. There are working utilities in the home. Kayla will not allow Deondre (Katlen’s father) to have anything to do with Katlen. PER REPORTER: Marah said she is concerned about five children that live in a house that is filthy due to it being covered in roaches and dog “piss and booboo”. She said the adults in the home sell drugs and use them in the home, and she said the children are aware that the drugs are being used and sold from the family’s home. It is unknown if the children have access to the drugs or if they have ever been harmed due to being subjected to the drugs. Marah said she use to live with the family which how she knows what goes on in their home, and she said something needs to be done about the way this family has been living. The unknown three years old child's mother (Tameisha) smokes marijuana and drinks liquor in the home. There is another male (Yark, Nu Nu, Mike, and unknowns) that smokes marijuana and drinks liquor in the home as well. The reporter visits the home two weeks ago for the first time with a mutual friend (Jasmine). The reporter stated that: "Once she entered the home the smelled of marijuana was all you could smell. The were three children there in the home at that time. It is unknown who the other two children are. Tameshia's son was tugging on her while she was smoking marijuana. The child was telling Tameshia he was hungry. Tameshia was still smoking the marijuana when she shoved the child to the ground. The child felled on his

I am not able to attend the pre employment job readiness program. My current employer was unable to find a replacement before the start date of the PEJRP. I understand the non-attendance in the PEJRP was the first step in the apprenticeship program thus recinding my offer for possible employment as a apprentice housing inspector program.
