Kaidan is mesmerized - as soon as his eyes find Shepard through the heavy crowd, he can not look away. Not that she is a particularly good dancer, in fact, it is the polar opposite - every move she makes is completely out of the rhythm and she seems to ignore the beat of the song and instinctively, Kaidan know that she is not doing in on purpose. Her moves are awkward and clumsy, sometimes even disgracious. However, he still can not take his eyes off her. Shepard seems carefree - she ignores Ashley laughing at her and teasing her and smiles instead- a wide smile that lights up her face like had never seen before - but mostly, she seems to have fun. She laughs with Ashley, with Miranda or even with strangers, responding to anyone with …show more content…
Kaidan has no idea what she just said, but he nods without thinking. Up-close, he can see the red flushing her face - due, mostly, to the drink she’s holding - and the drips of sweat that gives her a soft glow. Her hair is messy and she stares at him, bright eyed and a faint smile on her lips. He swallows - she is pretty, and it almost leave him breathless - and smiles …show more content…
She really cannot dance. He tries not to laugh, but her enthusiasm and persistence are touching and innocent - a word Kaidan did not think he would ever associate with her. She wraps his arms around his neck, moving against his body, and soon they were both off-rhythm, yet in sync. Kaidan feels Irene’s heart beats against his chest at the same time as his, then their breathes synchronize too and the rest of the crowd don’t matter anymore. Only Shepard and he exists, in their own little bubble. She closes her eyes as he grabs her hips, drawing her
“The smell of her hair, the taste of her mouth, the feeling of her skin seemed to have got inside him, or into the air all around him. She had become a physical necessity.”
And good grief, he's forgotten about her by taking interest with her book making her clench her hands into a ball of fists though it doesn't last long as a wave of reasoning pass by her mind—she just has to control her temper. She's good. She's always good. But then he spoke—stripping off anything good about him, dipping into a conclusion that he's just a pretty
For the first time since awakening from his coma, Clarence didn't feel ugly. He instead was flooded with happiness so intense that he swore it was the happiest he has ever felt in his life. He felt like he was the princely figure that this Beauty so much
“Thankyou.” This causes both of them to drop silent and stare at her- making her blush at the attention.
The lashes on his eyes stretch out miles upon miles upon miles, and she can’t help herself, so she reach up and trace her finger along the edge of his chin, catching the edge of the smooth incline of his face.
1. Shepard’s educational background come into play by him was more money conscious than most. I don’t think there were any times when his college degree was useful. Shepard was able to use his knowledge by creating different ways to save money. Throughout the book he made certain choices that helped saved his money. He created his own system of washing his clothes. He created a side job of celling cigarettes to people. Shepard realized his position and how needs to save before purchasing his own place. He wasn’t reckless while making finical decisions. He works jobs like shoveling feces out of yard for a church, and one of his bigger accomplishment was his job interview for a moving company. He would boast about himself and made a small speech rather than just had a mundane interview. These jobs pay more than the other ones he was offered. He refused to spend it and had an iron-clad will to save his money.
So engrossed was he in the music and whispered conversation that, unusually, for Kyle he missed the way her eyes scanned his lips, and the subsequent kissed surprised him. The first he knew was when he felt her soft, warm lips pressed against his, and his eyes widened in surprise. For a moment, he just allowed it, without responding, then, he returned in kind. A soft, unurgent melding of their lips against each others, before she pulled away, and he laughed. Not a mocking laugh, but one of encouragement, and understanding. "See, I told you, you
He turned his head. With features distorted in pain, he looked directly at her. The longing in his eyes was unmistakable. His mouth began to move. She couldn’t hear any words. There was only silence. His hand rose wavering beckoning her to come closer.
With the hand that wasn't cuffed to his, Bailey slipped it between her legs touching herself. She felt how wet she was, how turned on he had made her. Getting her fingers damp she moved them back to his lips and slipped them into his mouth. In that moment she was trying something new, something she'd never done before. All her life Bailey had always been insecure about her body, she had always hidden her body from the world. That was until she had met Calahan, he knew just how to get her to come over of her shell, how to make her feel alive. Calahan had made her see that there wasn't anything to be afraid of, her body was a wonderland, but in her mind it was his. "I want you, too." She spoke as she moved her fingers from his mouth and kissed him one last time harder than
I enjoy watching her dance, though I do see inconsistencies in her performances, depending on her state of mind. I find her technique solid and highly classical,
“What’re you doing, Ulysses?” Tabitha asks, I look at her, studying her features. Tabitha could be pretty, if it weren’t for her slightly upturned nose and freckles that dot all over her face, not the type that stay in one area the kind that looks like someone spilt a
Even if you are not the most advanced dancer you still need to try just as hard, maybe even harder. If you put full effort into it, you will be successful, That goes for every sport.
Coming into this event setting was confusing, set up inside in the cafeteria in a small section towards the front made it confusing for those of us who have never been in the cafeteria. The setting alone seems extremely unordinary for a Belly Dancer’s venue as most of her body that should be covered in cafeteria are such as her arm pits and her exposed feet. Her intricate body movements mirror that of the musical instruments and beats to the song as she swings her hips from side to side. Her introduction of the prop used which is a sword seemed unique, twirling around in circles that makes it flow in with her choreography. Going so far as to balance the sword on her head and gripping it with her teeth which takes a lot of skill to do. Watching the rhythm of her body in sync with the music shows how much exercise in involved as we can see her stomach muscles flexing and expanding as if she is doing crunches.
he tries to convince her to seize the day. And because of this love he felt
The man, too, exhibits naïveté when he mentions, “Her beauty made me glad.” His observation of the girl is very innocent in that he brings attention to things as he notices them, much like a child. “Her hair was thick with many a curl/ That clustered round her head./ She had a rustic, woodland air,/ And she was wildly clad:/ Her eyes were fair, and very fair;” he says. With the repeating of, “Very fair,” it is as if he took sudden a closer look
