Diane E. Foulds concluded the book, Death In Salem, in an effective manner. Although there wasn’t much closure on the Salem witch trials itself, we are able to understand who exactly was at fault for most of the murders. The ending explains how the witch trials continued until 1693, but the executions as a whole had ended in 1692. Foulds is able to explain to us how the judges never felt remorse for the several deaths that occurred under their power. She also states how the colonists were the main reason the witch trials ceased by claiming how the colonists had had enough of the lies and unnecessary deaths. Many of the clergy and judges finally came to realize the ridiculousness of the trials once a dear friend or loved one was accused. Unfortunately,
