THE INFORMAL AND FORMAL RESOURCES WHICH ARE AVAILABLE TO ME
INTRODUCTION
Informal resources are the services that are available in the society in a free and easily accessible manner. These services can be utilized by anyone who is willing to use them with belief that they will benefit from them.These resources include family, friends, community members and the church.
Formal resources are those services which have to be paid for in order for people to utilize them. Payment may be done by the individuals themselves or by the government. Examples include schools, health services and security services.
This essay seeks to discuss the informal and formal resources which are available to me.

FAMILY
A family is a group a group of people related by blood, adoption or assimilation. Nobody can deny the fact that nothing as important as a family. Family is a bond, a long lasting relationship between individuals. A close family bond is like a safe harbor where one feels secure and assured that there is always someone who they can lean on when they need them the most. It also safeguards the life, freedom and property of the people. Crime is increasing on daily basis therefore the role of the protection has become more important than before. Absence of security services would mean there would be chaos in the society .Thus, the security services though the personnel who are the police officers and the soldiers maintain law and order and order. It provides the necessary check against the ambivalence of the human nature. Another important role is the administration of justice. In other words one's safety and freedom depends upon the law and constitution but in practice the laws and judicial decisions are enforced by the security
What is family? According to our class notes, "two or more persons joined together by bonds of sharing & emotional closeness who identify themselves as being part of the family," stated by Friedman. Friedman's definition of the family is displayed in the movie, The Notebook. An assessment of the family unit is seen throughout the movie setting and story.
Everywhere around the world, in every different culture, people are grouped into families. The word family can be defined as a group of people bound together over time, because of mutual consent, birth and or adoptions/ placement or simply people who consume responsibilities for one other.
Family. A word that has about as many meanings as there are stars in the sky. Can family truly be defined, or is it merely interpretive? According to Seccombe, family is a relationship by blood, marriage, or affection, in which members may cooperate economically, may care for children, and may consider their identity to be intimately connected to the larger group (Seccombe 4). Although I do agree with the above explanation of family, I believe that it is inadequate in that it only supplies a framework of family rather than the duties and purpose. To me, family is a unit of individuals, related or not, that symbolize and exude comfort, solace, and support through all the trials and triumphs life throws our way.
Staff are made aware that they can approach me (informally) at any time, if they need to ask for guidance or if they have any issues /problems, or just need general advice or support. Family is a very vital social group for any individual as well as society. It is the focal point around which life of every individual revolves. The day usually starts with family and also ends with family but in between we used to discharge our professional, social commitment. The desire to be with the family reflects the strong emotional bond individual share with family. Family is the basic unit of society and in its most simplest form it may consist of a husband, wife and children .In a broader sense it may refers to all relatives of several generations may be connected to each other by blood, marriage or adoption .The married couple not only lives under one roof but also stay connected physically, mentally, emotionally, socially moreover financially. They are supposed to complement each other by meeting need and aspirations of each other. A family basically based on the institution of marriage. So it is very much significant on the part of both husband and wife primarily about the need to have a healthy functional behavior for a life time to meet the commitment they are extending to each other.
Society has limited or scarce economic resources, meaning all natural, and manufactured resources that go into the production of goods and services. (McConnell, BRUE, & FLYNN, 2015, p. 11)
Statutory and Non-statutory agencies are there to provide the public help and assist them they are in a sate of emergency or distress. They show this support by saving/rescuing lives, finding missing people and protecting. Both agencies together make an efficient and safe service for citizens to use.
