Do you know differences between city life and village life? Also, you may think the city life is most comfortable. You know, there are so many differences between them. That is to say, people living in cities are different from people living in the city. There are five major differences between city and village (people) lifestyle. I’m going to write social activities or opportunities, people’s behaviour, most common events, safety and getting good education.
First of all; there is big advantage of city life than the village life. There are more opportunities in city. According to internet source (http://dedunu.wordpress.com/ ) the main difference “there are more opportunities for people to progress in their lives. There are a lot of

So street selling is the most common event. Kalafat (2006) states that “ the assortment of the goods that are sold in the streets has reached unbelievable dimensions. From the street vendors carts all sorts of things from car fires to computers and even pianos are sold “ (p:102) However, in city there are a lot of big shop or store so people don’t prefer street selling.
Finally, one of the most important advantages of village life is that it is much safer than the city. There are fewer cars than in the city. Therefore, there is no noise of traffic and no accident. What’s more in village, there is no industrial and factorial pollution. That is to say air is clean and fresh so people can grow fruit which is much healthier. Again the same web source gives evidence “the village has clean air and the environment is very beautiful. The village has less noise and rush. So the
pollution is less. The village has not lot of vehicles. So roads are less dangerous for driving cycling. They can get fresh vegetable and fresh fruits. “
To sum up, city has many advantages over village, because city offers modern life facilities are easily available. I think, although the life in the city is more comfortable and modern than village, I like village life than city. Because, i feel relaxed and safe so if I have to choose between village or city life, I will say village
The country and the city both offer a place to live, but the pollution, entertainment, crime and education; are all reasons why the country is a better place to live and raise a family. A country girl myself, I currently live in the city with my family, but I would give anything to raise my sons in the country. Although much can be learned in the city, you cannot get that small town morale here nor the manners that come from being raised in a small southern town.
Our Town is a play that takes place near the turn of the century in the small rural town of Grover’s Corners, New Hampshire. The playwright, Thornton Wilder is trying to convey the importance of the little, often unnoticed things in life. Throughout the first two acts he builds a scenario, which allows the third act to show that we as humans often run through life oblivious to what is actually happening. Wilder attempts to show life as something that we take for granted. We do not realize the true value of living until we are dead and gone. The through-line of the action seems to be attention to the details of life. Wilder builds up a plot that pays attention to great details of living.
World cities are markets for a vast range of goods and services as they are areas of massive accumulations of wealth and have extraordinary purchasing power. The importance of these cities as markets is shown by patterns of concentrated retailing in high-order consumer goods, such as clothing, jewellery, and art. Streets such as Fifth Avenue in New York are famous for their retailing of very expensive goods.
People in the city generally have much different ways of living and worldviews than people in the country. Adherence to rural customs may begin to slacken, groups of acquaintances and
More races and ethnic groups were speaking more languages, engaged in more occupations, and were living a greater variety of lifestyles. Some of the things that had always appealed the city life was: the abundance of choice, the opportunities for new sensations, new experience, and also knowledge. Document 2 also states "the opportunity for growth and enrichment were far greater than the possibilities of plow and pasture life." Which that quote basically means, in easy English, is that life in the city was greater than life in the village
According to the essay “ Nature Through the Looking Glass”, the author believes that people should be part of nature, but most of the time people do not have real touch activity of nature. Under the strong competition society, it is not easy for a normal worker to go outside and interact with the nature. Those green plants on two sides of the city sidewalk is one of the chances for people to get touch to nature. More importantly, walking in the city sidewalks is easier than having a travel, which can satisfy most of the city people’s working requirement . Also, nature world will bring quiet life for people I always ask myself, if I can live without business area, after reading the essay “ The Forged City”. And I get a response, which is people need to get out of business activities and come back to nature even a short time in each day. Without interest relationship, people’s life will become simple and pure. Shopping malls cannot replace traditional city centers because people have large limitations in business malls. In contrast, people can observe different levels people in the society with equality ideas in traditional city centers. City sidewalks can fit for this requirement and provide a comfortable area for all of us. When children go
to visit your neighbor can be rewarding. On the flip side, city life breeds a more dangerous lifestyle and leaves no chance for getting to know your fellow townsfolk.
Families in the eighteenth century worked together in the village life, this strengthen the village and lead to a healthier and stronger environment for families to grow. The environment was also healthy because the spread of infection and disease decreased due to the decrease in population size compared to years prior prevented disease from multiplying and spreading.
There are definitely more conveniences living in the city. Grocery stores are within blocks from your home, a gas station is to be found on every corner, and banks and hospitals are within walking distance. Living in the country means commuting to get to these places. It also means having to be prepared and making several stops to get all things accomplished in one day to avoid traveling back and forth several times in one week.
If you had the choice to live in the city or in the country, which would you choose? Are you the hustle-bustle type who cannot seem to find enough hours in one day? Or are you someone who is much more easy-going and would rather have all of the time in the world to finish one assignment? City dwellers and country dwellers may be only a few miles apart, but what they do in their leisure time is often be completely different.
Many families and individuals find themselves at some point questioning the advantages of city living versus country living. It is nearly impossible to find a good answer to this question. What is good for one person might not be good for another. Some people enjoy the busy, hyper active metropolitan city where they can use all amenities and have unlimited opportunities for work and leisure. At the same time, other people feel the urge to be closer to Mother Nature, relaxation, beauty, and peace. They take pleasure in living in the calm and peaceful environment of the countryside and spending their free time fishing, hiking, picking berries in the woods, or playing in the creek. In my opinion, the nature
Everyone has a different lifestyle. People sometimes have to decide where they want to live. Some people prefer to live in the city while other people choose to live in the countryside. Their choice depends upon their bachground. City lifestyle and country lifestyle are two different types of living. Although, these two types of living differ from each other by environment, job opportunities and cost of living; they also have similar features such as daily routine, values and people live and work in these areas.
Urban areas are the human settlement with high population and well-established infrastructure. People who live in urban areas are mostly involved in commerce and trading activities. However, urban areas are not confined to cities only, but also includes the suburbs areas. On the other side, rural areas are region situated on the outskirts. There are open space and natural vegetation. Residents practice agriculture and animal husbandry and use it as a source of income. Many people and families raise questions on the benefits that one acquires by choosing to live in either urban or rural settlement (Lucas 31). Quality of life is essential when comparing both urban and rural life. Even though both locations are best to live, it is crucial to evaluate the similarity and differences between two places. Various factors such as the diversity, employment opportunities, health, and capacity to make broad choices influence one decision while comparing urban and rural life. Even though life in both urban and rural areas offers great benefits, there are some drawbacks in both lives.
Rural society is under developed and conservative society and different from urban society due to many reasons:
Lines are rightly said by great English writer-“Charles dickens”. villages are generally very beautiful with green hills, clean air and peace. In villages people care and help each other. Cities are normally very crowded places as compared to Villages. In the city, one might not have the privacy that one wish for. One would not be able to go outside without bumping into people. One have 10 people living in a small one room
