With the rapid growth of Technology, higher education has changed a great deal in the last decade. Students seeking higher education now have the option to either take classes online via the internet or take classes traditionally in the classroom. Online and Traditional Education are still similar and still use the same concept of teaching. These include having a teacher, discussion board, and the same traditional curriculum. In fact there is only a few differences. The big known difference is the flexibility of online classes versus a scheduled classroom environment. This makes it easier for students that have a family, busier lifestyle, or full time employment. Traditional education are for students that have more time in their schedule where they can attend classes, at a scheduled time. In this essay I will go over the key similarity and difference between online and traditional education. Although both very similar, it really comes down to the students preference and how much time they can dedicate to their education. Online Education uses the same format as learning in a classroom setting. They still require teachers, discussions, assignments, and students. Online education was put together to help students with full time commitment issues. Maybe the student works full time and can’t commit to scheduled classes. Online classes will mold with your schedule—log in to your online course at a time that works best for you as opposed to having to attend a lecture at a
