The two characters in the Chrysalids, Uncle Axel and Joseph Strorm portray many differences and similarities. Uncle Axel is not the same as Joseph Strorm, they are greatly different and pose differences. If you think that they are, then this will show you how they aren’t. Although they do have some similarities and they will be listed and explained later. Most notably, Uncle
Axel and Joseph strorm differ in how they behave, what their important roles are, and significance. The first difference between Uncle Axel and Joseph Strorm is that they both have different emotions and personalities; while they are both related to David, each display different plays and attitudes towards David. Joseph Strorm is the father of David. He is deeply religious and

Joseph was a very religious man towards his family and community. In the community of Waknuk, Joseph considers himself to be worth enough to choose the fate of human life, ultimately chooses the fate for others life.
The final difference between the two is their roles, more specifically, their actions towards people. Joseph Strorm represents the old, cruel ways of people. Joseph detests those who differ, even slightly, from his idea of the true image, and reserves no forgiveness for them. Even when his own sister in law comes begging help for her blasphemous baby, Joseph turns her away with hateful words: “Shame on you, woman! Now go! Go home in humility, not defiance.”
He wishes the capture and torture of his own son, when discovering his telepathy. Uncle Axel however, had been quite an important person throughout the book to David and telepaths as well as the whole society. Uncle Axel plays a major role in this book. From uncle Axel's speeches and actions, the reader can see that he is a wise man because in (Pg.80) he says “It's what happened inside, after that, that made him human.” To express how a man should be examined, the inside, not their physical appearances.

are both bad influences, second they are killers, and last they both died at the end of both of the
Both men come across interesting characters to say the least. They were interested and curious when it came to these characters, and felt the need to investigate them, often leading to misfortune. Though this is not positive, it is a similarity.
They can be considered as the two most dominant and controlling rulers to ever have power. They took advantage of the authority given to them and used it to ruin lives. Adolf Hitler and Joseph Stalin may seem to be very similar but can also be very different. They share similarities of taking power and creating a dictatorship of where they ruled, and have differences based on how they ran their territory and tactics of gaining power. What may seem like two very uniform lives, could also be two divergent lives when looking closer.
Two people can be similar in many ways, but they may not know this. Sometimes the two people don't even know each other. Two people wrote two different short stories about two characters that went through different things but were a lot alike. In Richard Connell's short story “The Most Dangerous Game” and Saki’s short story “The Interlopers,” the main characters General Zaroff and Ulrich von Gradwitz are alike in the following ways: both men hunted on their own land, both men hunted humans, and both men died. Out of all the places in the world both men choose to hunt on their own land.
The story of Joseph and his family is complex, it is full of conflicts, great stress while at the same time we can see how in the worst of situations forgiveness and hope is always present and living, should we choose to see. But most of all, if we choose to allow God walk along us during all days of our life. After reading the scripture and reflecting upon the Family Joseph, all eight concepts of Bowen’s Family Systems can be seen and applied, however sibling position is an important aspect of this story. As I read the story, I cannot help but see that the reason for Joseph’s inheritance is because Jacob loved Joseph’s mother, Rachel, more than his other wife or other women he laid with. He was in fact, deceived into marrying Leah. Additionally,
One of the most prominent similarities between the two is the alienation they felt from their mothers. Despite the love they

The similarities that do exist are that they are regular people with problems just like the rest of us. They have the same family problems and
This is Joseph's response to his brothers after they had come to Egypt seeking food. When they realized that the powerful ruler they stood before was their brother, they had great fear because of what they had done to him, by selling him into slavery. When you step back and look at this story you see that all that happened in Joseph's life was for his good. the good of his family, and the masses in Egypt whose lives were spared during the 7 years of famine. I am sure that Joseph did not see this grand plan when he was sitting in prison or the bottom of a well. Yet he remained faithful to God. He trusted in the dreams that he had been given as a younger man that some someday his brothers and parent would bow down to him. When life gives
There are thousands of stories in the Bible, but one stands out in particular; the story of Joseph. The Hebrew meaning of the name Joseph is “may Jehovah add, give increase.”1 Through the life of Joseph we see God add meaning and purpose to his life, just as God adds meaning and purpose to all our lives. “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”2 Joseph obediently followed God’s plans through trials and tribulations whereas many other figures in the Old Testament faltered in their faith. Joseph, son of Jacob, is the single most important human being in the Old Testament because of his impeccable faith to the one true God and his story of forgiveness that set the stage for God’s chosen people.
Now, people will be asking information, because Rosalind and Petra left with him, or at the same time as him. I strongly believe they did, it can’t just be a coincidence, Rosalind was a good relative of David. Are they Blasphemies too? I have no doubt about it! I mean legitimately, Emily already made David, why wouldn’t Petra be one too? But I never thought Rosalind was one though, never!
From David's birth to death, a lot of message has been shown in the David Story. The good and evil of human nature are displayed on the other hand.
so it all comes down to how are they the same? well that might seem like a trick question since they are so different but they actually do have a few things in common.
Mosses: There is nothing more to say about the major similarities. They have already been said.
In many ways, they are the same or at least very similar, In Kevin Grayson 's opinion:
