Based on what we have learned thus far with regard to ethics, regulations, and federal mandates, what are the challenges faced by healthcare executives and direct care providers such as physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and healthcare organizations in general.
I believe the biggest challenge for healthcare executives and direct care providers will be the increase of baby boomers and the mandates requiring millions to be insured. Will the organization have adequate amount of physicians, nurse, physicians assistant, updated technology, and improve QI measures? And will they be able to focus on prevention and health promotions?
The decrease of funding (reimbursements), inadequate training, resources, and staff will have everyone at a disadvantage.

External and internal influences are relevant in health care. These influences continue to affect the total operations of a health care facility. I will summarize the insights I have gained into the external influences of the new health care reform policy and quality initiatives. The recent health care reform legislation was passed in the house and senate this year. The senior vice president, that I have interviewed, states that health care reform is an “unknown” for organizations. In addition, I will research the quality improvement initiatives and how these external influences include implications for organizations and health care administrators.
Our healthcare system is in a state of constant change. Just as the industry was adapting to the demands of countless healthcare reforms, the fate of regulations like the Affordable Care Act (ACA) and others like it, dangle in the wind. As the country transitions to a newly appointed administration, there is an increasing level of uncertainty among industry leaders. Federal, state, and local mandates continue to drive the need to improve the quality, costs, and outcomes of care which add to an already overburdened and burnout system. These coupled with our highly secular society who is primarily focused on the treating and curing illness through advanced technology, medications, and procedures has resulted in a

The reporting party (RP) stated her brother, resident Luis Gallegos DOB: 8/26/70 was transferred to the facility from a skilled nursing facility (Premier Care). According to the RP the resident was admitted to Premier Care on July 13, 2016. The RP stated prior to her brother's stay in Premier he was able to make his own decisions and therefore didn't require a POA or a conservator. Consequently, Premier transferred her brother without notifying his authorized representative, his sisters. When the RP and her sister attempted to visit the resident they were refused. They need to know the fundamental lawful and moral doctrines that will manipulate the hospital atmosphere; the lawful affiliation of the patient and the health organization (Niles, 2014). The demands of the health care administrator include “The basics concepts of law, both civil and criminal healthcare law, tort reform, employment-related legislation, safety in the workplace, the legal relationship between the provider and the patient” (Niles, 2014, p. 285). Accreditation and Legal process put much demand on the health care administrator because the health care administrator needs to understand the translate law; criminal and civil and what it means in the workplace (Niles, 2014). When making decisions the health care administrator needs to work in compliance with mandates or else any violation could result in a lawsuit or loss of accreditation (Niles, 2014). When it comes to the Joint
Throughout the years, health care leaders have tackled many challenges in the health care organization. Some of the challenges include knowing the difference between needs and wants, affordability, and sustainability, consequently these challenges can be confronted by evolving and transforming over to modern business models. For health organizations to be successful they must use planning, decision making, and training. Regardless of the changes, health care organizations must conserve excellent services. The purpose of this report is to recapitulate information shared throughout an interview between Dr. Kyle Grazier and Ronald G. Spaeth. In conclusion, I will state my opinions on Spaeth’s approaches and the lessons that individual’s can learn from the interview.
Correct Care Solutions, LLC. (CCS) is contracted to provide medical, dental and mental health services to the correctional population housed at the Mecklenburg County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO). There are a number of questions that have to be answered in the coming years vis-Ã -vis ethics and legal issues in health care
While discussions of integrated care are not new in the United States, the research literature has largely been about blending mental and chemical health into physical health systems. Using a critical hermeneutic application of interpretive phenomenology, this study aims to address that gap by interviewing adults with serious mental illness about their experience receiving physical health services within a community mental health center. Nine individuals, five clients and four providers, interviewed for this study were selected using the critical case criterion in partnership with the community mental health center. Interviews were digitally recorded and transcribed. Data analysis was conducted within-case followed by cross-case analysis technique.
Richard Lewis, Jr. LCSW, CCM, Allcare Health, arrived late to the meeting. He was wondering why there is not a home assessment learning objective listed. The group explained to Richard that the Industry Partners considered RCC CHW course as an entry level and then Industry Partners would “mold” the individual to fit into their specific organization. Most of the meeting members felt the continuing education would be important for professional development. Richard stated, “Leaving the polishing to the specific organization,” would be beneficial for everybody.
“CARE USA’s program expenses in 2013 totaled more than $514 million” ("CARE FAQs") after providing necessary supplies to globally provide for their cause. To obtain this quantity of funding and commodities, the organization is helped funded from governmental agencies, “…the European Union and the United Nations.” ("CARE FAQs.") However, the organization is additionally funded by proceeds that are donated to them yearly from “…thousands of individuals, U.S corporations, foundations, and other organizations...” ("CARE FAQs.") Ultimately, these great commodities help promote the potential the organization has into achieving their mission of providing permanent relief to suffering communities.

With the expected growth in the allied health sector in the coming years due to increased patient care demands, healthcare organizations in the United State will need to take steps to maintain a high quality of care. These steps will include ways to ensure that well trained staff are hired, adequate new staff on the job training and orientation, continuous review of policies for improvements in safety, care, risk management and quality assurance. In addition to focusing on the integration of the incoming allied health personnel, healthcare organizations are expected to review how care is currently provided, and find new ways to provide care and meet the great increase in demand for care.
As a health care administrator there are many challenges that have to be faced. Health care administrators have to deal with a very demanding career with all things health care on a constant change. The changing of health care with new developments is what causes health care administrators to have such a tough job. They have to make sure that they stay up to date on the changes happening. The main two challenges that I think will be faced is communication to employees and staying up to date with trending health care issues.
