Technology has become a daily part in one's lives where it helps people do the simplest of tasks and allows time consuming tasks be completed in seconds. People don't have to go to a bookstore to buy books anymore since e-books made the process easier or have to wait in long lines at the DMV when people can make an appointment through their phones. The amount of time technology saves people isn't beneficial though, according to Paul Goldberger and Christina Kline technology has belittled experiences that they believe are part of the experiences of life on a daily basis.

Technology is an essential part of our life. The use of technology can be seen in almost every aspect of our daily routines. Despite some people’s belief that technology is progressively destroying humanity, it is evident that technology’s advancements have greatly benefited humankind due to its contributions to improving education, health, and communication.

Technology has brought its own benefits and drawbacks to today's society. In 'The End of Solitude", William Deresiewicz addresses the negative impact that the instant gratification of technology has on people. Deresiewicz argues that televisions, cell phones, and the internet have taken people into their own worlds where you're never alone and at the same time never have to interact with another person. I believe while technology has its downsides, it has also brought everyone together in different, quicker, and more convenient ways then ever before.

In society people may feel wrong or deserted. Is technology good for society though? Is individuals are safe when they use it, and are they respectful when they use it? A lot of questions are always being asked about the technology people use every day. Sometimes there are answers, but most of the time people don’t get the answers they need. There will always be one main question about technology for the rest of time however. Is technology good for society? Technology has become the substitution for human intimacy and interaction with one another and the emotional challenges about being limiting.

Technology has been a huge factor in my life. If I could recall throughout my years, there has not been a moment that I've been without technology. Some people may feel that technology is overrated and becomes a major distraction, but I see different. I believe that technology has advanced our lives so that we, as people, can advance. As an twenty year old college student, technology has helped me grasp and understand many aspects around me, including athletics, social media, art, and more relatable subjects. There were many times in my life that technology has improved my life, but three opportunities stand out the most. There was the time I interacted with my celebrities on twitter(2015), creating my first social site(2007), and receiving my first laptop and Iphone.

Technology has inspired people through many positive and negative ways. Technology allows people to express themselves and communicate with others. For instance, if one would like to check to see if a store is open, all he or she has to do is check on his or her phone. Many people agree that technology isn’t useful; however, it truly impacts one’s mental health, school grades, and general knowledge.

From waking up to our alarm clocks to going to sleep with our air conditioners on we are constantly using technology. We are constantly discovering more ways to do things faster and easier. Technology has taken over our brains and society. It is without a doubt that technology has been beneficial to our lives, but there comes a point where not being able to live without it becomes excessive. It has welcomed itself into our everyday communication, our entertainment, school, and even our work.

In today society technology takes and facilitates a great portion of tedious task. Technology has been engraved into the daily task. Additionally, we have come across and known to be the digital generation. Technology expands too new horizons and serves at great magnitudes in different fields. For example, technology serves in the medical field, advertisement and many more. Although, there is many benefits of using technology there is a downside. Technology decreases our reasoning, motor, and shapes our way of thinking negatively.

Years ago, before computers and phones, people would actually communicate face-to-face. Now, we like to communicate through texting and emailing which is ruining our social skills. Most of us have a lot of friends or followers on Facebook and Twitter, but do we actually need to keep up with each of them? We spend our time keeping up with people we barely know instead of going out to lunch with our actual friends or family and talking. We spend hours sending

Circumstances can prevent face-to-face interactions. Waiting until we see someone in the flesh to communicate with them isn’t always practical. If the time between meets is lengthy, such as a yearly family reunion, this can weaken the relationship. A telephone is a great tool for maintaining social links. It’s abundant and inexpensive. Yet, it’s limited to one conversation at a time and requires the other person to answer otherwise we have to leave a voicemail. Other useful tools include instant messengers such as Yahoo or Skype. Messages are distributed via text, voice, pictures and/or video. Still, it’s limited to individual messages and can be cumbersome when we need to contact numerous people. Facebook, on the other hand, combines the two technologies. When we post a message in our space, it gets conveyed to everyone on our contact list, or instead, we can send a private message. This ease and convenience can help support relationships by allowing us to keep in touch when circumstances prevent us from doing so in person.

Of course, technology has its advantages. It has helped make people’s lives easier and companies to build their infrastructure. Technology has improved the business, healthcare, education, and transportation industries immensely. Because technology has become so ingrained into modern society, many of us cannot imagine a world without the various systems and devices that we have become so accustomed to. The Internet has enabled communication between friends and family across the country to be easily accessible. Laptops, smartphones, and tablets have made many people’s work and social lives more convenient due to their portability. Even social media has made it simple for people to network and stay up to date on the latest news. A life without it would seem boring due to the new infatuation of sharing and tagging anything. Although this is the “so-called life”, there are people out there who use technology to improve lives and better society. My mother, Dawn, has a job where technology is an aid to help make each and everyday successful. I, on the other hand, use technology as an aid for school and recreational use. As we both use it on a daily basis with different goals, we come together for one main purpose of bettering someone’s life.
