With the added assurance and comfort the A.D.A. provides, disabled workers can go out with confidence and apply for almost any position. There is a certain classification set by A.D.A. on what constitutes a person with a disability, that is if the person has a physical or mental disability that substantially limits a major life activity. Parents and/or caregivers are considered one of the most essential members of their child’s IEP team. Their involvement benefits their child’s overall academic success. Unfortunately, full parental involvement does not always occur and there can be many different reasons for their nonparticipation. The IEP process can be a very overwhelming experience for families with children with special needs, especially for those who are culturally diverse. Usability is a critical portion of web design that one must be ever mindful of when constructing websites. Whether creating a personal web space or building multiple pages for a large corporation, it is the burden of the designer to guarantee people can access that content. According to the United Nations, disabled people compose roughly 10 percent of the world’s population (United Nations, 2010). Many regulations and standards have been set forth to provide disabled people with the same opportunities to access content available on the World Wide Web, as it is most of the World’s population.

According to him I have no recourse left.

If an individual is capable of performing a job, even with the assistance of reasonable accommodations, then it is imperative that the person has the same opportunity as others to be considered for open positions. If BackOffice can provide a person with a disability adequate and reasonable work conditions, then that person should have equal access to employment. But, if reasonable accommodations cannot be provided due to impediments such as extreme costs, inability to make structural changes, or certain demands of the position, then the person with the disability does not have to be considered.
Furthermore, it is Watler Accounting’s policy and responsibility under the Americans with Disabilities Act to make reasonable accommodations to assist the disabled applicants or employees in meeting these legitimate criteria, once we are made aware of these disabilities, and provided that they do not cause undue hardship to Watler Accounting’s business. It is Watler Accounting’s policy not to ask about mental or physical impairment unless an applicant or an employee voluntarily discloses the existence of a disability and requests and accommodation. However, if the subject should arise, our only purpose in discussing a mental or physical impairment is to discern the nature of accommodation that may be appropriate. We may discuss the specific requirements of the job, and, to the extent the applicant or employee is willing to do so, compare those with the applicant’s

A person with a disability, or handicap, can be defined as someone with a physical or mental impairment, which has a substantial or long-term adverse affect on his or her ability to carry out normal day-to-day activities (Employment 2).
