Hello All,
Jacqueline Fuentes brought to my attention that a parent had a concern regarding a discipline issue that happened with her daughter a week or two ago. Fuentes has stated that according to mom, I tried to force Shinesty Mangnum to eat a piece of bread and I'm the reason that Shinesty is hesitant to come to school.
The scenario was actually that Shinesty was tossing bread up and down in the cafeteria and was asked to stop. She continued to throw the bread in the air, so I asked her to move to another table as a consequence. She refused to move and I asked at least 10 times. She responded verbatim "My momma told me that I did not have to move and I only had to listen to my teacher." At that point I went and retrieved Mrs. Alford,
Born as Ray Mendoza on July 2, 1951, was born of Puerto Rican and Venezuelan descent. She was given the name Sylvia Rivera by a local community of drag queens and spent her career fighting for solidarity between transgender people, queer people of color, homeless people, and sex workers. Sylvia Rivera was one of the “street queens” living in New York, and is known as one of the most famous street youth who fought back during the police raid at Stonewall. Modern day, Rivera has come to personify the aspirations and flaws of the modern gay liberation movement.
Who is Scarlett Berenisse Mendoza Rodriguez? Is it an American girl? Is it a Mexican girl? Is it a teenager that always complains about her way of living when she has all that she needs because her mother works too hard, so that her siblings and her, can have everything necessary to survive? Yes, I am all of them. I am a Mexican-American minor trying to figure out what to do with her existence. A young lady that is repeatedly complaining about what she does not have while she does not notice what she already has.
The principal’s final verdict was so crushing that it left a lump in my throat. My childhood years of trouble making never caught up to me; I never thought it would. Every year, I would end up in one incident or another, but the result was simply a slap on the wrist. This time, there was no escaping punishment. I was to have in-school suspension for three days.

All of a sudden Mrs. Anderson started yelling and screaming at me. I asked her to please stop yelling and screaming at me, but she continued, so I hung up my cell phone. She called me back a second time still screaming and yelling. I then stated to Mrs. Anderson that we can have an adult conversation without all of the screaming

“ I don’t want to hear one more word from you, now go back to class.” the principal stated sternly as she assured me out the door. I went back to class and finished the rest of the school day. When I arrived home my mom sent me to my room until my dad came home to talk with me and discuss my punishment. After my dad’s lecture

I then turn to Andrew and ask him to explain to me what’s going on. He told me that when they’re in the gym and it’s time to pick a team member that he’s never gotten picked by the other students. I asked Andrew if he has ever seen me in the hallways or the cafeteria during lunch time and he said, no. Ms. Rodriguez advised at the beginning of the school year an incident happened and she spoke with the Principal, Mrs. Hinton. I

I had been working with a child where I needed to conduct an assessment. Before the meeting to share the information with the parents, I sent them a copy of the completed assessment to enable them to gather their thoughts so that at the meeting I was able to answer any specific concerns. The mother had rang me the day she received the assessment as she was not happy about the comments written. I explained to the mother that we could discuss the matter at the meeting but, although she did not respond, I could sense that the mother was still irate.
Marilyn said she went in to use the bathroom, get the old bread that she said she was told she could have by another lady, and went to sit down when he asked her to leave. She said she has the right to be there at the AA meeting because the Borough of Shenandoah has her listed as an alcoholic. I asked why she didn't leave after he asked her to and she first said because she has the right to be there and later saying she wanted to get the old coffee grounds. I asked why she wanted the old coffee grounds and she said so that she could place them in different areas that needed a more acidic ground cause some things need more acidicy. I asked her to
The abuse that Gloria Sanchez is facing is something that caught my attention throughout the reading of each individual. She’s so afraid of disappointing her parents, that it could lead to her getting seriously injured, or could even run her the risk of losing her life. One reason that she hasn’t gotten the courage to leave is that she doesn’t want to defy the teachings of the church. Ultimately, Gloria is risking her life because of what her family might think, and the unknown of what particular consequences that her husband might face.
During a late shift on the ward, my mentor asked if I would stay with Mrs Smith whilst she gave out medication in order to ensure she wouldn’t be left on her own and fall. I introduced myself to Mrs Smith and sat with her in her room. It became apparent to me quite quickly that she was obviously very confused and she was not fully aware that she was in a hospital, as she repeatedly asked me where she was. On being told she was in hospital she would say no and shake her head. It wasn’t long before she asked me when her husband would be there to take her home, to which I replied
One day, Jane and one of her new subordinates got into a small argument over a letter that was typed by the subordinate. The letter was to explain a situation between a teacher and a student at the school in which she worked. The employee asked Jane if it was okay for her to go ahead and draft up the letter because Jane had been in meetings most of the morning. Jane said with conviction, that it was okay for the employee to do so, but not to send it out before she looks over it. The employee typed up the letter and left it on Jane’s desk for her to read after she returned from lunch. When Jane returned and read the letter, she was not happy with any of it. She took out a red pen, and started marking up the letter from top to bottom. After making all of the corrections she felt as though the letter needed, she called the employee back into her office to show her what she needed her to do. The employee looked to be taken back a little by Jane, however, she did not respond in a manner that was disrespectful. She took the paper, and proceeded to her desk. As Jane and I were in discussion, we heard the subordinate on the phone. Jane excused herself from our discussion to go and see if the letter was finished. The
