World War Two impacted many countries, such as Germany, Japan, England France, the Soviet Union, and the United States. World War Two was a very serious war, and it did not only affect the Jews, it affected many people. World War Two was caused by many events, but the main ones are economic, political, and social events. One genre of events that caused World War 2 are the economic events. One economic cause is that there was a depression that caused the creation of strict economic blocks to protect their businesses and raw materials. Another economic event that occurred was the recession that Germany was in. This was when the Central Powers lost World War 1, so the Allies punished them with the Treaty of Versailles. The Treaty of Versailles forced Germany to pay a large amount of money to repair what they ruined after the war, which caused the recession, and only someone like Hitler could get them out of the trouble they got in. One reason World War Two was caused is economic events. …show more content…
One example is when Adolf Hitler introduced the Nazi party into the world. The Germans thought this was a good idea, because he promised them to abolish the Treaty of Versailles, which convinced them very well. They listened to whatever Hitler said, which gave him a lot of power which he abused later on, by expanding their territory and power. Also when the Nazis were in power the Allied countries were having a difficult time adjusting to their aggressiveness and their international policies, which probably wasn’t always agreeable with other countries. Political events were one of the main causes of World War
At the end of WWI many countries blamed Germany for starting the war. These countries used the Treaty of Versailles to punish Germany. These punishments included loss of land and military, infeasible reparations, and complete humiliation; this is how the Treaty of Versailles directly caused WWII.
The main reasons behind world war 2 World were land, fascism, and natural resources. World war 2 started off between Germany,Britain,France,Italy, and the Soviet Union later joined by America and Japan. World war 2 started September 2,1939 to September 2,1945 and was the most deadliest war in history with more than 30 countries resulting in more than 50 million military and civilian deaths. One main reason was land. After world war 1 Germany lost some of their land for war costs and it was used to make new countries. When Hitler came into office, he said he would get it back so Germany conquered Austria, Sudentanland, and started on Poland when Britain and France declared war. H-Hitler used his idea as dictator to take back land lost in world
During the period previous to World War II causes that led to World War II included German attempt of imperialism in Europe, pro-appeasement ideologies towards German military expansion, and ignoring con-appeasement ideologies towards German military expansion.
World War II killed more people, destroyed more property, disrupted more lives, and probably had more far-reaching consequences than any other war in history. The war, which ended in 1945, eventually involved 61 countries, claimed 50 million lives, and completely changed the geopolitical landscape. The causes of World War II can be easily traced back to many of the unsolved issues from the end of World War I and the treaties that ended it also created new political and economic problems. Forceful leaders in several countries took advantage of these problems to seize power. The desire of dictators in Germany and Italy, and Japan to conquer additional territory brought them into conflict with the democratic nations.
World War II affected the world in many ways, good and bad. Jews and Japanese- Americans suffered the most in World War II. Hitler and Nazi Germany discriminated the Jewish and imprisoned them in concentration camps, where they were forced to do hard labor under harsh conditions. United States prejudiced those of Japanese descent, and placed them in internment camps where they too were treated unfairly. Because the Japanese were not forced to work, the Jews weren’t fed like the Japanese, and people weren’t killed in the internment camps, the Japanese internment camps were different from the Jewish concentration camps.
One of the reasons that caused World War 2 was the treaty of Versailles because President Woodrow Wilson, Georges Clemenceau and Lloyd Georges wanted a peace treaty for all different reasons (history on the net, 18/09/15) Woodrow wanted the peace treaty based on his 14-point plan based, this basically means he wanted long lasting peace and he did a speak called the 14- points explaining 14 reasons why he wanted long lasting peace, which he believed would bring peace to Europe. World War II (WWII) had an immense effect on the United States; culturally, economically, and industrially. Among the infinite of changes experienced by Americans during this time, there was a big shift in the industrial complex, a re-imagining of the role of women in society, and economic boost. Social shifts began to shape a new national identity which would change the country forever.
Through the Treaty of Versailles, the Great Depression of 1929, and political appointment by incompetent yet manipulative government officials, Adolf Hitler was able to silently rise to power in Germany, consequently causing the Second World War.
backed out without much question! It was far too casual for it to be a
World War 2, famously known as the most devastating war, had causes dating back to WWI as well as,pre . Some people refereed it because of the Treaty of Versailles which most of the people agreed one that it was too unfair for Germany and that their anger was going to appear sooner or later. The people thought it will create fascism. Some historians saw that the failure of The League of Nations was also another factor.
From the Treaty of Versailles, to the rise of Hitler, and the failure of the League of Nations, there were many causes that lead up to World War II. World War I left Germany with many shortfalls, thus leaving them in the hands of the Treaty of Versailles. Rather unfair of a Treaty, this left Germany once again looking for another way out. A country resented by many had no other choice but to feel optimistic toward Adolph Hitlers empty promises… making it substantially simple for him to gain power so quick. Throw in the Great Depression, and you have a vastly unstable world, which the Germans believed Hitler would lead them out of.
World War II was fought between two main opposing forces, the Allies and the Axis forces. The Axis powers consisted of Germany, Italy, and Japan being the most dominant. On the other hand, some of the countries in the Allied powers were Great Britain, the United States, France, Australia, New Zealand, India, the Soviet Union, Canada, and Greece.
World War II has been considered one of the worst things to ever occur in history. Violence, death and aggression took place in the 1930s and 1940s in certain European nations. German leader, Hitler played an important, yet a very big role during this time. With the rise and domination of fascism in Germany and Italy, the goal was to maintain peace, established by the Treaty of Versailles ended up in major disaster. World War II began with the poor economic conditions in Europe after World War I and the confrontation of clashing forms of governments and in the end it brought about positive and negative changes of the world. World War II began on September 1st, 1939 when Germany invaded Poland; this invasion led to the Japanese attack at Pearl Harbor, The Great Depression, and the Holocaust.
The second World War can be considered “Hitler`s war” due to Adolf Hitlers responsibility and actions that caused the war. He had an enormous impact and role on many events such as secretly increasing the size fo the army, which made World War 2 possible. On the other hand, the failure of the League of Nations and defects in the Treaty of Versailles also triggered the outbreak of the war. It gave Hitler many oppurtunities to support his ambitions and policies. Hitlers Plan that could only be followed through with the help of mistakes such as the appeasement. It can also be argued that it was rather Germany than Hitler`s war as their reaction to World War 1.Many factors affected the outbreak
