Thanks for sharing your thought during this week discussion. One thing I learned this week from this week assignment was the role and duties on the National League for Nursing (NLN). From this week discussion assignment I was able to discover that the NLN is dedicated to excellence in nursing. According to the Nick, Sharts-Hopko and Leners (2013). NLN is the premier organization for nurse faculty and leaders in nursing education (Nick, Sharts-Hopko & Leners, 2013).

During the summer of 2015 I signed up for Math 1314. Being still in highschool and taking a college level math was not only difficult for me but also nerve wracking since the majority of the people in the class were people who had already graduated high school. I felt out of place while also feeling discomforted to the thought of collaborating with adults.

What I learned about my activity level from this assignment is that I am still a very active person because of Frisbee and flag football. If I did not have either of the two, my steps would be in the low teens and I would not be very active. It is weird to think how your physical activity goes down after high school. I can see it how my steps go down when I am not participating Frisbee or flag football.

I have been sick with the stomach bug for the past three days and I am still recovering from it. I also have had four major projects in each of my other classes. Unfortunately, I will not be able to complete the ‘Effective Email Assignment’ before the due date. If you are willing, can you please extend the deadline for this assignment? If so, I will finish the assignment before the extended due date. I believe I can give you my best for the assignment when I will not be rushed to complete the assignment, sick to my stomach, and stretched with other assignments. For this assignment, I attended a professional development convo that was held on campus on April 9. The title of the convo was «Banking on your success: family budgeting». This convo was presented in partnership with BB&T Bank, the Office of Multicultural Affairs.
