I am applying for the Associate Director of Diversity Recruitment. This is such an exciting position that allows one to contribute to the community and in turn society.
With experience as a Recruiting Manager for BAYADA Home Health Care, I had the opportunity to work with Keystone JobCorp in various recruiting events and was a guest speaker during one of their Career Day programs. I also had the pleasure of participating in the Hazleton School District Career Day event where I served as a guest speaker, and collaborated on events with Sandra Medina of the Migrant Education Program in Hazleton.
These experiences coupled with being bilingual have assisted me immensely, in being able to outreach to the community on various levels.
I am positive I would quickly contribute to the continued success of the Diversity Recruitment program.

With great willingness, I am applying for the position of Senior Program Development Specialist with the Oklahoma Healthy Aging Initiative. My longtime friend, Madelyn Keck, learned of the position and suggested I apply. I am seeking both a change and a challenge and this opportunity provides both. My education, skill-set, and experience make me an excellent candidate for this vacancy.

Managing diversity’ refers to a range of management and leadership practices that aim to value diversity in the workforce and help an organisation be more successful. This book provides an introduction to the theory and practice of managing diversity (and Equal Employment Opportunities or EEO). The book covers topics such as: the role of historical struggles in the development of managing diversity practice today, demographic and social change; theoretical debates; discussion of each of the main groups that managing diversity programs often focus on like gender, ethnicity and religion, people with disabilities, and mature workers; and practical tools for implementing valuing diversity initiatives. The book has been written by a very experienced

1. My experience with racism, sexism and classism has all varied due to the intricate intersections of my identity. Although I identify as a heterosexual, cisgender woman and therefore experience the devastating effects of patriarchy and sexual harassment in the workplace, in public spaces, and within my own family circle, these experiences are not as harsh nor as devastating as women who are trans or non-heterosexual. I also am a white passing woman and although I myself know and celebrate my Mexican heritage, it is important to also recognize that because of my white complexion, I experience certain privileges that non-white passing Latinas do not have because of the color of their skin. I also grew up lower to middle class, and continue

As companies become more diverse in the work field employees are getting harder to manage and understand. One issue in the global market today is workplace diversity. Workplace diversity is defined as all characteristics and experiences that defined each employee as individuals, but it can also be misunderstood as discrimination against employees. Diversity can include race, ethnicity, sex, religion, disability and sexual orientation discrimination. One reason why workplace diversity is important is because when you respect your employees productivity rate rises and many companies do not know that. A diverse workplace targets to create an inclusive culture that values and uses the talents of all employees.
My contribution to the campus diversity would be constructive. I enjoy assisting the community individually and collectively. Any student or person who will require my assistance will receive it, unless I am unavailable. I enthusiastically offer my assistance in any volunteering for NC State. I aim to have favorable relations with everyone at NC State, and I expect to benefit from my superiors. I desire to learn, and accomplish feats that are equal or surpasses my superiors'
I think it’s pretty common for people to picture a Caucasian male with a suit and briefcase when picturing someone with some high end cooperate job. We used to be able to blame this on the fact that many different races weren’t getting the same level of education. In these days, with everyone getting equal opportunities in education and more diversity in higher educational institutes, there should be no reason that races aren’t represented more equally when it comes to white collar jobs. Many studies have shown that more diverse economies make for much stronger ones. When businesses can accept the nation’s ever changing demographics, they obtain a more diverse and inclusive workforce which benefits them economically.
Men, women, Lesbian Gay Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) individuals, people of color, and young and old individuals all bring their own diversity. America is filled with diverse individuals. Along with this increase of diversity in the nation, there is an increase of diversity in the workforce. The workforce is becoming more diverse throughout the years, and HRM needs to figure out how to manage the diversity. If diversity is not managed correctly, HRM can face negative media and potential lawsuits. Diversity impacts HRM because if it is managed correctly, it can prove to be the strength of a company and if managed incorrectly it can lead to discrimination issues. If diversity has been the strength of America, it can become the strength of the workforce as well.
In 1964, the Congress of the United States passed the Civil Rights Act. Title VII of this act prohibited employers from engaging in employment discrimination based purely on race, color, religion, gender and national origin. Such a national policy marked the beginnings of a culturally
