The concept of self-defense is one who defends themselves in the act of violence. The ability to protect one’s self is human nature and it is our humane right to do so. The four perspectives that have shaped self-defense laws are the defendant believes that someone was going to use physical force to harm them. The belief was reasonable and those viewing that would believe the same thing. The person being attacked believes that the force they used to protect themselves was just. The belief that the circumstances involved caused for the defendant to protect themselves and that everyone viewing that idea agree. I am not sure that anything else can really be done to protect the laws for self-defense. I think that the laws are clearly defined and
