Poseidon is the Greek god of many things and is involved in many myths. Poseidon is the Greek god of the sea and plays an important role in Greek mythology. Poseidon has many roles and responsibilities. He is the Greek god of the sea and also rivers and streams. He is worshiped by fisherman because he can grant them safe passage in the seas (Sakoulas). His symbol is his trident that he carries around with him. He is also the Greek god of horses. He taught mankind how to tame and ride horses (Sakoulas). He then calmed down and the people of Athens gave him sacrifices. In another myth, King Minos asked Poseidon to send a bull for him to sacrifice. But Minos never sacrificed it, and it made Poseidon mad. He asked Aphrodite to make Mino's wife fall in love with the bull. It worked, and this created the Minotaur. He loves horses and rides them around everywhere he goes. He was the father of the king of Athens. Not only that, but he can also shape-shift. And he can give that ability to others.
