Does Poverty Effect The Economy?

Poverty is about not having enough money to meet basic needs including food, clothing and shelter. However, poverty is more, much more than just not having enough money. When people are excluded within a society, when they are not well educated and when they have a higher incidence of illness, there are negative consequences for society. We all pay the price for poverty. The increased cost on the health system, the justice system and other systems that provide supports to those living in poverty has an impact on our economy. My essential question for this research paper is “does poverty effect the economy”? And in my paper I will research what poverty is and its traits and the impact of poverty among generations and what makes my research important.
Lack of Adequate Income-A major characteristic of a poor person is not having enough income to buy food and afford adequate housing. The basics of human survival are water, food, shelter, clothes and warmth. People are considered poor or living in poverty when their income is insufficient to pay for their basic needs to be met or if they need to live in substandard housing.
Marriage and Poverty-poor couples get married just as often as people who have more income, however, their marriages are not as secure.
Mental Outlook-People living in poverty tend to have a different mental perspective than those who have adequate incomes. Poor people are more concerned about surviving and relationships whereas those with higher incomes…
