2. Again, review the DFDs you developed for the Petrie's Electronics case. (I have placed the level 1 diagrams in the Project Workbook - Week 3 folder in doc sharing, use your homework solution for the Record Customer Activities level 1) .
The history of the right to bear arms, this has been an American tradition since colonist set foot on North American soil. Mass murders have been cause by guns does this mean we should only allow our military to have guns? I believe in the constitution we have the right to bear arms. It was written in the constitution for a reason. Without guns it makes our country weak. I’m not talking about just our military having them I’m talking about citizens not being able to have guns.
Is there ever an instance when a M.Ed. cohort student does not have to take EDUC 635? I have had 2 students, 1 reading and 1 C&I, call to ask if they need to take 635. The C&I student said his professor talked about 630 being different for those taking 635 and those not. The reading student said 635 did not show on her advising sheet, which it does on all the advising sheets I have. The first time I was asked the question, I assumed there was some confusion with the professor, but when I got the same question twice in 2 days it made me wonder if I had missed something.
This week of my behavior change project went more successful than the past week. I noticed that this week I worked on my time management and balanced my time between school, community service, and myself. It was much easier to be motivated and do exercise because of the time change. Before daylight savings by the time I completed my shifts it was already dark outside and windy. However now that I have more time at 7:00 pm it is still sunny and warm so the weather definitely motivated me to do at least a 30-minute exercise. By the time I complete my shifts it was already dark outside and windy. My overall experience with the behavior change project was positive, as I was able to successfully change my sleeping habits. Although there were times when sticking to my behavior change plan was extremely difficult, I was able to stay on track and change my sleeping habits. As a result of my behavior change, I now feel healthier and less fatigued. Because of these physical improvements, important areas of my life, such as school and sports, have improved also. My performance in the classroom and on the basketball court has noticeably become better after making this behavior change.
Only this time, there will be a reward and punishment system in the form of a token economy that should influence my behavior. During the conditioning trials period, (Monday, March 27th through Friday, April 14th weekdays only), I will follow the exact same procedures that I did the previous week. I will wake up at exactly 6:00 am when my alarm goes off, get out of bed, and note the date, time, and whether or not I accomplished the task successfully. However, this time the number of times and star stickers that indicate I successfully accomplish this task will matter more. If I successfully wake up at 6:00 am during each weekday session (five days in a row), I will reward myself by going to see a movie on the weekend. If I wake up on time only 4 out of the five weekday sessions, then I will reward myself with watching one movie on Netflix during the weekend. Going to the movies and watching a movie on Netflix will be positive reinforcement. If I fail to wake up on time for three days in a row during a specific conditioning week, then I will not watch any movie at all. Furthermore, I will not allow myself to access Netflix. This will be a negative punishment. Ultimately, the desired behavior of waking up at 6:00 am weekday mornings will be positively reinforced by the reward of getting to watch a movie on the weekend. Failure to wake up at 6:00 am for three or more weekdays will be negatively
While behavior change isn't easy, it can be made more manageable through the use of effective time management and scheduling. I have a bad habit in the form of procrastination, and I tended to procrastinate and postpone a lot of things in my life, including the activities I undertook for my behavior change project. By taking part in this project, I have learned that in order to accomplish my goals and fulfill my obligations, I need to set times aside for doing my different activities. By applying this attitude to both the project and other aspects in my life, I have managed to mitigate my procrastination and accomplish my objectives in a timelier
"Some day the earth will weep, she will beg for her life, she will cry with tears of blood. You will make a choice, if you will help her or let her die, and when she dies, you will die too." -John Hollow Horn, Oglala Lakota. Hear Mr. Horn explains how it is our job to take care of the earth. Our ancestors have put blood sweat and tears into this land to pass it down in the condition it is. Line 5 is a oil pipeline that runs striaght through one of michigans great lakes. When it was originally installed it was hurting any wildlife or the land. Now nearing 60 years later the line is very oil and has a risk of bursting. If this was to happen it would many aspects of the land, such as the history, tourist, and wildlife.
MCO Wanda stated she was making relief at Colorado/5th. As she was making relief she heard a loud noise. The bus was at stand still at the bus stop.
He has a special gift that he uncovers through the novel, the power to heal.
Due to the difficulty that would arise later on in the project, it was determined that a useful way to encourage a change in the behavior involved having an overall daily on-time percentage of 80% or more. If the daily goal of 80% or better was achieved, then I could purchase an item of my own choice such as fast food, a tobacco product, or another small inexpensive treat that would encourage and reinforce the target behavior. After each week, the on-time percentage had to be greater than 90% in order to spend $50-$100 at an online store of my choice. However, in the first week it was required that I be on time within 5 minutes of the start time, in the second week less than 3 minutes, and the third and final week, I had to be on-time or early. These three tenements gave rise to the shaping of my project which would further allow me to alter my deficit behavior and reach the goal of my target behavior of increasing overall timeliness to classes, social, and life
Often there is an urge in my mind to write down the number five instead of the number six. I will pause for a moment before honestly writing number six down even if I know nobody would notice if I wrote down a five. I first picked up a golf club when I was six years old. My father and I played nine holes for the first time in my life on a cool summer evening when the sun stays out until well past dinner time. I spent the next twelve years continuing to learn and respect the game. Competition in high school golf made me wish to improve because even though I was a good player, I was not the best nor as good as I hoped I could be; however, learning the game teaches more than just skill, but it also taught me honesty, integrity, and how to be well-mannered.
The title provides clues about how the context will compare something in an interesting way. “Draw to a larger scale” is like compared to “Viewing something in a bigger picture”. The title also entices the readers to read on to discover the true meaning of the title. In the context it describes how an average dropout becomes famous celebrity tattoo artist. It describes how he started in a small shop called “Saved Tattoo in New York”, then to group shows, and now his own shows in New York.
I have always moved around withthe military, I've been to a different school every year since I was only eight years old. In highschool, It wasn't untill my third high school in Indianapolis, Indiana that I held afterschool touturing for an hour every other day. Me along with a few other students that were more advanced in our classes helped other classmates with homework, classwork and studing. Starting on Monday, we would meet in the ALC or the Advanced Learning Center and we would all be in our different groups or subjects we were good at. For me, I'm really good with World History, US History and Government. On any day we would get 10-12 students in each group where they were able to ask the group as a whole their questions, study, play
What should a third grader know how to do? What abilities and problem solving skills can third grader do? The national standards give us a nice template of what we should be teaching a third grader and what they should be able to accomplish by the end of their third-grade year, but the standards lack the ability to show me what it would look like in the classroom. When sorting out the samples, I was hesitant about putting the samples into categories, I just don’t think in those ways. I take a very holistic approach (look at the whole child) when it comes to evaluating my students. I take in account who my student is and what they have accomplish within a certain amount of time. I had no background knowledge of the kids I was ask to evaluate. So, the evaluation I give is
