I set everything with Benefit Hello Flawless powder. Then I put on Too Faced Dark Chocolate Soleil on my forehead, cheeks, nose, and jawline. Then I brush through my brows with Benefit Gimme Brow and put Charlotte Tilbury Full Fat Lashes on my top lashes. This takes about 10 minutes. Sometime people want to wear makeup that looks so that you do not wear it. First, wash your face with water, or cleanser. Moisturize your skin with tinted moisturizer and wait 3 minutes, then use pigment-rich concealer to hide dark circles and deep under eye circles. If skin gets shiny try to apply some powder with a help of blush. Try to put light brownish tint to shade eyelids. If you willing to use eye pencil make sure that it is soft grey or brown. To get good tint, choose a lipstick that matches the color of your lip. Mascara is very important even when you were natural makeup. After applying foundation, most all of us need a little extra coverage to hide blemishes and undereye circles. Estee Lauder makes three fantastic concealers for this purpose. First, moisturizer is the most essential in doing makeup. A moisturized face will keep your face moisturized and it will make the makeup look better. Dry skin and makeup is not a good combination. After the moisturizer, a primer can be used to eliminate pores to help the makeup have a smoother look. To get rid of dark spots in the face, some people use color corrector to balance out the skin so that the foundation does not look uneven. Color corrector is optional, but if you have a few dark spots then it would be recommended. After the color correcting, filling in your eyebrows would be the next part. Your personality is a major key in this work field; you have to be able to communicate with others and work well with others. Being a makeup artist is all about working and interacting with people and if you can not do that or do not like to be around people then this is not for you. The experience you have varies a lot more than the education you have. You could have all the education in the world about being a makeup artist, but that does not mean you are good at it or have the creative eye for it. You could work with big name brand companies like MAC, Sephora, Makeup Geek, and Ulta without going to school for it, but just simply because you are good at it and you have the passion for it.
