Trying to open my door to my house to get inside while a mysterious white van approches up in front one that i have never seen around or could remember. The people in the van ask my uncle “aye where you from?” and he replies with “i am from nowhere i don't gang b..a..n..g”. My neighbor sees what is happening outside but is hiding behind his door just looking what happens next. Then comes out running and has a ak-47 on him lock and loaded ready to shoot. The next thing I know he starts to shoot at the van while my uncle and I duck for cover behind the wall. I was so scared and wanted to scream and let my emotions out but for some reason I couldn't and just saw all the bullets come out one by one. This felt like it could take hours and I also saw that he had another magazine in his sweater and thought to myself when will this end and how? I'm breathing so quick exhaling and inhaling thinking I could pass out any minute if I keep this up but quickly found out this is the only thing that is keeping me calm. The guys in the white van run out of bullets to shoot and took off making the loudest noise with the wheels burnin …show more content…
I called my mom and just wanted to make sure that she was okay and nothing bad happen to her and tell her about what just happen at the house. She said she was the mall buying clothes and that she will go over with my uncle house to pick me up. Not going to lie but I felt so anxious of going back but then saw cops outside there was about 4 cars outside and guess someone called them to come over. Wanted to say something and let this not happen ever again but if i did who knows what would've happen and what if they come after me so I kept silence and walked to my house and open the door this
I am currently living in Seattle, the Emerald City. Even with many wonderful aspects around this city, there are few things that I hope will change in the future. One of the problem that I faced was the gun violence.
One friday afternoon I had a friend Anna come over to my house to stay the night. Me and Anna and also my mom were all watching movies and eating pizza. Well my family is full of boy’s so we like to have nerf gun wars.
When I was a kid, I did not think about gun violence. In fact, I grew up in a household that accepted guns. My dad, uncle, and grandfather all owned guns, and I never really gave much thought about it. When I was younger my dad bought me a little BB gun and taught me how to use it. We used to go outside in our backyard which was all fenced off. He taught me all the safety precautions, and set up the paper targets for me to shoot. I always believed that was normal, everyone owned guns. I didn't realize the importance in which they played, in our society, for protection, until July 20, 2012. I watched the frightening and horrific incident that took place in a no gun-zone theater in Aurora, Colorado. It was that day at my house that the importance of guns became very clear to me. As I watched the intense news, I saw how all those victims were in danger, and how they appeared so helpless. They were trapped, and left with nothing to do but call 911, and wait for the police to show up. In the last five years, I have come to realization the importance that guns play, whether or not it is in a gun-free zone or not. They are a base of protection, because attackers will always find away to obtain them.
Over the past several years, there have been several high-profile police-involved shootings, and the justification behind the shooting has been questioned. Several of these shootings have resulted in a subsequent criminal conviction involving some form of a homicide charge for the police officer involved. This has created a great division between those who support and those who oppose the police. Police agencies and community leaders have sought to repair this relationship, and citizen police academies are one potential avenue.
One day I woke up and there was nothing, no hustle and bustle though the house just silence. It was very odd for it being a school day for me and my brother. I just laid there waiting for something to happen, but nothing did. I decided to peek out my window to see if anything was weird and immediately I noticed a giant flash of light. I ran to my father's gun case and shattered the glass not even worrying about the cuts on my arm. I grabbed his 12 gauge and his 380.. I have had much experience with guns so I could properly defend myself. I looked around And yelled “Mom , Dad , Anyone?” there was no reply to my plead. But once I turned Around again there was a man. Torn up and battered like an abused
In his dad's closet hidden oh in a box of fun things, I don't even know what

It’s Friday while the sun makes the whole Santa Cruz warm. I looked out the window and decided to shoot some shots into the hoop. And that’s what its called a 50 shots challenge. I walked on the court with my basketball and began shooting. It was terrible from the beginning by shooting ten balls but only got in three. To get better, this kind of practice are needed right?
As he desperately walks away from his brother, tears begin to run down his face.
All of a sudden I heard a gunshot, and then another, and five more to follow it. It was rapid fire. Tear gas was thrown into the crowd, all of a sudden a blinding pain blurred my vision, I was barely able to make out people dropping down next to me. I immediately dropped down to not be seen by the police shooting. The screams were deafening, I couldn’t help it, I started crying.
Just then i heard a cop car, my heart stopped and I prayed they are here for us, like maybe just maybe the neighbors heard my yelling and called for help. Just the a there was knock on the door. “IT'S LIKE POLICE OPEN UP.” They men instantly ran through my house and out the windows in my room. Taylor and I ran down to tell the police what happened they saw the guys and chase after them. I hugged taylor crying, I still don't understand why the men did was they did or what money they were talking about. We called my parents and they came as quickly as they could i was still shaking I hugged them until i eventually fell
It was a cool summer evening, my friends joined me in a paintball game that evening. Out of the five of us four were decent shots. Kenny could hit a target three feet away. “Kenny at this rate you’ll just be dragging us down.” James told him in an abrasive manner. “Not to be rude, but James is right Kenny.” I said to him trying to be nice. He is usually a puerile person, but our comment put a dour look on his face.
I quickly went to the passenger side and opened that door seen a small hill of mud close by a made a run for it I couldn’t see where the person was firing from as I got to the hill I could see nothing but close by things with my flashlight I hid behind the hill I heard a noise behind me as I was looking for the shooter and looked back and there I seen a man who was injured I ran to assist him I seen he had gotten shot at on his chest I assisted him and took off my shirt and put it on his wound to stop him from bleeding he pointed behind my back and I turned around and saw the man that was firing at me he was point a AK at my I quickly grabbed my glock and shoot I shot him on the arm. He dropped his AK I ran to pick it up as fast as I could I grabbed it and aimed it at him I asked him who he was and why was he doing this he said he was in the terrorist group isis he said he and many isis solders where ordered to do this. He did not know why they wanted us to do it. I saw a little barn not far from where I was standing I shot the man and ran for the barn I hid behind the hay stacks hoping no one would find me I laid there for the night until morning around 7am I heard footsteps I got the glock ready in case if it was a terrorist and I looked through the corner of the hay and saw it was a U.S solder and I got up slowed telling him I wasn’t a terrorist and he said that there was a helicopter outside and asked if I was injured and helped me up took me to helicopter where I see
It was 4:30 am and my chicken alarm woke me up for my dentist appointment. I didn’t want to get up, but I knew I had to because in just 30 short minutes, I would need to be leaving for my appointment at 8. Yes, do the math. I have to leave three hours before my appointment. Why? Well because my family has no money, so I have to walk. I crawl to the bathroom on the other side of the hall and hear a BANG, BANG, BANG! There are just seconds between the shots. Being half asleep, this sound wakes me up. I think of all of the possibilities as to what it could have been, but then I realize it is probably just the neighbor shooting his gun to prove a point to his wife, which is quite normal I have found to be true. The rest of the time getting ready seems to go fast. By the time I get done brushing my hair and my teeth, it is already 4:58 am. I rush down stairs and put on my tennis shoes. I have a long hike ahead of me.
