After viewing the video Real Life Math, I am now paying attention to all of the geometric shapes and math that were involved in building the church. I see rectangles, squares, and angles of varying degrees. The stained glass windows are filled with multiple shapes of many different sizes. I am now having more appreciation for every building, brick wall, and walkway that I see. Even the curbing and the lines for parking involved math. Whoever made the curbing had to choose the height, width, and length of each segment of curbing! Wow! My mind is being overloaded with math now that I am looking for it.
