Donald John Trump, born on June 14, 1946 in Queens, New York, is now running for president in the 2016 election. Donald Trump is now aged 69 and has lived many generations where he has become a billionaire real estate mogul, television personality, film producer, and is known as the ultimate entrepreneur. Trump is a divorced man from two wives, but has now settled down with Melania Trump and has five children; Ivanka Trump, Eric Trump, Tiffany Trump, Barron Trump, and Donald Trump, Jr. It comes a surprise to me how Donald Trump received his degree in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business and is now running for President. Why you may ask? As he says in one of his speeches, "Sadly the American dream is dead," …show more content…
Starting with his policy of immigration. He would have the roughly estimated 11 million illegal immigrants to “self-deport” he also mentions that “the good ones” could come back at a later time. “I will build a great, great wall on our southern border and I will have Mexico pay for that wall. Mark my words.” He said. He has also said, “undocumented people bring drugs, they’re bringing crime, they’re rapist.” Now, this is completely unnecessary. As he must think before his words are spoken. First off, why should Mexico have to pay for the wall that they do not want? Why should immigrants have to go back when they’ve settled a life here? These immigrants went out of there way to come to the United States not to increase the amount of crime or to bring drugs. Is a man who classifies immigrants as “rapist, drug dealers, and bringing more crime” worth the opportunity to stand for us all?
Secondly, the war in Syrian, Donald Trump has said he would send home all Syrian refugees the US accepts, if he becomes president. “If I win, they’re going back,” he says. There was a conversation going on with wanting to take in 200,000 Syrians, “they could be Isis,” he mentions. He begins to describe them as a “200,000-man army.” “I'm putting the people on notice that are coming here from Syria part of this mass migration, that if I win, if I win, they’re going back.” Does he not take consideration of all that has occurred? They are in need of help and there he is to deny their
Trump wants to enforce our immigration laws-to build a wall and end sanctuaires cities, which he calls crap and says they need to be stopped. Stop and end all of it, if they want to come to the U.S, they need to come legally. Welcome those who embrace our way of life, but keep out immigrants and refugees who don’t through rigorous vetting. Trump thinks they are bringing drugs, crime, rapists and problems for us.
Specific Purpose: At the end of my speech, the audience will know more about Donald Trump.
Donald Trump is a very successful business man that is just trying his hand in politics this election. He was born in Queens, New York on the fourteenth of June in 1946 and later graduated business school at the Warton School of Finance. Other than the acting chairman and president of his own organization, Trump has become a successful author of over 15 bestselling books including “The Art of the Deal.” He is also an Emmy nominee for his show “The Apprentice” which coined the phrase “you’re fired!”(“About Donald J. Trump”). Though he may not have much governing experience, he sure has gotten a lot
He is right, we do need to build a wall, so we can put him on the other side. Why would you want a guy who’s been filed for bankruptcy 5 times to be in charge of our nation’s economy? He shouldn't become the president of America because his plans are so impulsive. Wanting to deport more than 11 million immigrants? Wanting to build a Great Wall to divide people? Prejudice and wanting to separate people? If we let this man run the country, he might even exceed his “Great Wall” and he might come up with an idea to send all immigrants and anchor babies to work in camps where we will have to paid. Doesn’t this sound familiar? Do not let the story repeat. He does not care about children or the families being torn apart, just like the muslims, instead of being grateful that we have many things because of them. Doesn’t that triggers you? Imagining a family being torn apart just because of their race or their religion. Until today I still do not understand how people can still try to blame the entire group of Muslims for one incident. It is so irrelevant because everyone in this planet is so different and you can not judge someone based on the actions of someone else that they don’t even know. Just because one Muslim attacked someone, does not mean all Muslims will. No group of people deserves that type of prejudice or judgement or fear. This makes me extremely furious because ever since 9/11 there has been so
Trump was born in the New York City borough of Queens. He earned an economics degree from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. A third-generation businessman, Trump followed in the footsteps of his grandmother Elizabeth and father Fred in running the family real estate company. He served as chairman and president of The Trump Organization from 1971 until his inauguration as president in January 2017, when he delegated company management to his sons Donald Jr. and Eric. Trump's business career primarily focused on building
Two issues that Trump has hyper-focused on are immigration and job creation during his first 100 days in office. First, I will talk about immigration, which many would say was his main platform for his election. This was the issue he built his “wall” campaign on. There are over 11.3 million illegal immigrants living in the United States. Critics say that this “wall” that Trump wants to build is unaffordable and downright unrealistic. From the beginning of his initial bid for president he was backed by many to build this wall along the 2000 mile US-Mexico border. When Trump first became instated as the president, he pledged a contiguous, physical wall or other similarly secure, contiguous, and impassable physical barrier. Trump approached the Mexican president, Enrique Peña Nieto that his country will have to pay for the wall to be built. This didn't go over to well creating some tension between trump and our neighbor to the south with in his first month of election. Enrique Peña Nieto wanted nothing to do with paying for the wall since the price tag is so high. With this Ideal to build a wall, he also added as a side note to hire over 10,000 plus immigration officers to eliminate federal money to sanctuary cities. These cities refuse to deport undocumented immigrants. Also he vowed to catch and deport the millions of men, women and children who live in this country without documentation. As of his 100th day in office there has been a recorded decrease in illegal Southwest border crossings due to his increase in border security. Homeland Security as of March 8 release data showing that in there was alone 18,762 illegal immigrants caught. This is estimated as a 60% decline from november before Trump took over in office. The only stipulations to this data is , it does not give a general trend since it's been such a short period of

Donald Trump proposes that he will build a permanent border wall and Mexico’s government will pay for it. He claims that “...the Mexican Government has taken the United States to the cleaners” (“Immigration Reform”). Trump says that the Mexican government has been taking advantage of the US and using illegal immigration to export the poverty and crime out of their country. He says that we are spending billions of taxpayer’s money to support and pay for these immigrants. He is generalizing the population of immigrants that enter this country. Saying that they are all criminals and rapists. Wherever you go in the world you will find criminals in the population. He can’t single out Mexico as being full
Republican senator from Texas, Ted Cruz, aims to win the presidency in 2016, but before sitting in the Oval Office will have to overcome many challenges within his own party, and the rejection of numerous groups of the immigrant community. Cruz, of Cuban origin, made the announcement during an event atLiberty University in Lynchburg (Virginia ), an emblematic site of the evangelical movement ."Today I'm announcing that I am running for US president. When the truth is, it's time for freedom, it is time to claim the US Constitution, "said Cruz, interrupted by loud applause of students chanted" Ted! Ted! "Thus, Cruz became the first to officially announce his candidacy, among possible candidates of both parties.

...We're going to do that vigorously, we're going to go with the laws that are existing, but we're going to have a very strong border and we're not going to have people pouring back in.’” (Donald J. Trump, Aug. 31, 2016: Immigration Speech). Donald Trump believes that immigrants are terrible people, and that they cause all the crime in the US. Not only that, he also believes that the immigrants are taking away from American jobs. He also claims that we should send the refugees back to their original country, because all those refugees are “rapists, criminals, and drug dealers.” (Hillary Clinton, on Trump’s answer, Oct. 19, 2016: Final Presidential
Donald Trump was born on June 14, 1946, in Queens, New York. He was an assertive child so his parents sent him to a military academy for high school. They hoped that his education there would also discipline him to make him a better child/person. He furthered his education by studying economics at Wharton College at the University of Pennsylvania. In 1971, after he finished college, he took over his father’s real estate company. He renamed the company the Trump Organization. As he was very involved in economics, he would buy many pieces of land and create buildings, mostly in the Manhattan area. Often times, Trump’s business methods and actions have been called into question. For example, in 1973, he was called into question because some of his tenants complained about discrimination towards them by Donald. Another scandal that he has been brought into are the numerous allegations that women have brought up saying that Donald sexually assaulted them, among other inappropriate actions. He married Melania Knauss, his now third and current wife, in 2005. He currently has 5 kids throughout his three wives On June 16, 2015, Trump announced he was running for president.
