Should Donald Trump Be President?
We have a major decision to make, as on every leap year, but this generation of voters has the largest presidential decision in history. Who should be our president? Donald Trump should not be president because he has not paid income taxes, insults people over the internet, and has broken other laws. Electing Donald Trump will have effects such as unfair tax rates, hostile and weak world relations, and the allowance of broken laws without being caught. Despite arguments to the contrary, electing Donald Trump as president is a poor decision.
To begin, Donald Trump is not a quality president because he has not paid his taxes for two decades. I will be talking much about tax records, which everyone has; they

According to the article, "What Trump Tax Report Could Mean for His Campaign," this will "also undermine Trump's self-image as a consummate deal maker and business man. He repeatedly argues that he has created a 'great company' worth billions of dollars." (Stephen Collinson, Jeremy Diamond, and Karl de Vries, CNN, 7) This makes it clearer that he is NOT a politician, which means Trump doesn’t have the experience he needs to have the role of president. "Donald Trump once rented office space to an Iranian bank that was linked to sponsoring terrorist groups," reports Jeva Lange in her article, 'Trump Rented Office Space to Iranian Bank Tied to Terrorism', also stating its source, "a report from the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists and the non-profit, non-partisan Center for Public Integrity has found." In other words, he is illegally renting to an Iranian bank. The article also states, "At the time the U.S. forbid Americans from doing business (and taking rent) from Iranian companies." (Jeva Lange, 1) This activity of renting to Iran is illegal. In the article, "The Revelations about Trump's Charitable Givings Will be His Undoing," the author states, "And why did he spend charitable money to buy a signed NFL helmet? How did he get away with donating $25,000 to Republican Florida district
Mr. Trump is commonly known because he isn't just some politician. He is an extremely successful businessman who has happened to be running for president. Trump has very high class 5 star hotels in new york city. He also has golf courses, buildings, and offices all around the world. He is worth 4.5 billion dollars. “ Trump is the very definition of a success story”
Throughout Donald's life success was not easy for him or his businesses. The Trump organization revealed that it was 5$ billion in debt in 1990, with as much as 1$ billion spent by Donald Personally. With all the casinos, hotels, and cars Trump had to create a bailout system that would allow him to take out two to three mortgages on most of properties. Unsurprisingly Donald Trump filed for bankruptcy four times. Although he was in the hole, he was able to get himself out and with that I think that he wouldn't have been able to make any crucial business decisions without the help of many bankers and lawyers but also the use of a free enterprise system.
Lucky for the people Mr. Trump is just that. Trump owns Trump Organization, a company ranked 62nd of the top 100 companies in the U.S.. The company is worth roughly 9.5 billion dollars alone (NAGLE). Donald Trump as a standalone figure is worth roughly 4.5 billion dollars. If there is a physical representation of a person’s success, it would be money. Trump has taken his father’s role in the real estate world and not only met, but exceeded the expectations that he was imagined to have. He expanded rapidly from the original company and broadened its range from New Jersey to Florida to Manhattan, and even The New York Suburbs ("Trump Organization."). Even after he went bankrupt four times, he managed to pull himself out of the dirt and rise back up to his dominate spot. He surrounds himself with winning people and anyone who can’t perform at the level Trump demands, he fires. He doesn’t settle for mediocrity. He is a fierce competitor and that's what America
Trump may be known for his wealth but many aspects has shown that he is definitely bad in business. As president, being good in business is one of the key aspects to succeed, because you have to handle the whole nation’s financial matters. Trump boasted that he earned his own money, but he isn’t like Bill Gates or Mark Zuckerberg, who are self-made billionaires who were innovators in their fields. Instead, Trump’s wealth is inherited from his father. Almost all his best-known successes are deducible to family ties or money given to him by his
Donald Trump is a very successful business man that is just trying his hand in politics this election. He was born in Queens, New York on the fourteenth of June in 1946 and later graduated business school at the Warton School of Finance. Other than the acting chairman and president of his own organization, Trump has become a successful author of over 15 bestselling books including “The Art of the Deal.” He is also an Emmy nominee for his show “The Apprentice” which coined the phrase “you’re fired!”(“About Donald J. Trump”). Though he may not have much governing experience, he sure has gotten a lot
Presidential elections are an important aspect of U.S. history. This year is probably one of the more interesting ones since Donald Trump, an entertainer, is running for president even though he has no experience with politics. His campaign is widely criticized but he still holds a major lead from 30-40% depending on the state. Donald Trump should not be the President of United States at all, his views are bigoted, sexist and racist. Our president should not feel that he is superior to others and constantly degrade others for their race, religion, gender, etc. Not only are his views disgraceful but he has no past experience with politics,
In the history of The United States of America there have been 44 presidencies. The current election is showing many promising candidates and of them two have made a rather large name for themselves, Donald Trump for the Republican Party and Hilary Clinton for the Democratic Party. When discussing these candidates, although both have their respective positives and negatives, I believe Donald Trump to be the better candidate for president.
America has had many great leaders throughout its rich history. What is a president, is it not just another word for leader? George Washington was a military leader during the american revolution and later became the first president of the United States of America. He was a magnificent president and he set the bar for what the president should be like. Throughout history we have had many presidents some good some not so much. This upcoming election will decide our forty fifth president of the United States, and may be the single most important election we will ever have. All the presidents of the United States have had a problem that they had to deal with and that they would talk about in their campaigns to help them to be elected. The two candidates either Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton will have more than just one problem to deal with. Our nation is not in a very good position so the president we choose has to be able to think on his or her feet and be a strong leader we can trust. A lot of things come into effect when voting for the new president such as the way the battleground states vote. The battleground states are Ohio, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Florida, North Carolina, Virginia, and Wisconsin. These states have a major impact on who will be the next president for the reason that most of the time the candidate that wins the election wins the majority of these states. With this being such a huge election that is so close in the polls we need everyone who can vote to
Do you want to make America great again, vote Donald Trump for president, 2016! He is our lord and savior. You might even be able to watch him hit an epic trickshot on ISIS. Donald Trump is a billionaire real estate mogul and a TV personality. He is also the frontrunner of the Republican party. Although he is unprofessional, Donald Trump will be the greatest president this country has ever had because of his tax reform, his U.S.-China reform, and because of his immigration reform.
No matter the size of the group, every group has a figure that leads them. Leaders need to have leadership; leadership are the skills that a leader uses to move a group forward. It propels the group to move in the right direction. Presidents are leaders of a country, an enormous group, a group nonetheless. A president has to have a transparent leadership in order for the people of America to trust him, if his leadership skills are lackluster, the people will begin to doubt his ability to move the country forward. In this paper, I will try to explore the type of leadership that is needed for the next president of America, what can be accomplished with great leadership skills and how depending the leadership of the next president, will affect
The President of the United States of America is literally the most important person on this planet. Why, you may ask? Well, that’s because, he is “in charge” of the most powerful and influential country of the world. Every decision he makes, in regard to America, can and will affect every other country in some sort of way. Presidents have so much power that every decision they make becomes news. Now, the next logical question would be, where does all this power come from? Who said it was okay for one person to have so much power? And most importantly, does the president of the United States of America actually have so much power all to himself?
Donald Trump ought not to be president. Is there any valid reason why Donald shouldn't Trump be president? Indeed, in light of the fact that Donald Trump is excessively egotistical, making it impossible to be president. Trump said Sunday that his migration arrangement could have kept the 9/11 terrorist assaults. "I trust that on the off chance that I was running things, I question that those individuals would have been in the nation," Trump reported.
Trump was born on June 14 1946, in Queens, New York. He attended the University of Pennsylvania. He began his career working for his father’s real estate company, Elizabeth Trump and Son in 1968 and in 1971 he took control of the company renaming it The Trump Organization. Since then the company has grown to be one of the largest real estate companies in the U.S. According to the October edition of Forbes, Trump’s estimated wealth is 4.5 billion, while the Bloomberg Billionaires Index estimated a net worth of 2.9 billion. Prior to his announcement that he was running for the GOP candidacy Trump released a statement to the media claiming he was worth over eight billion dollars. However his actual wealth is very hard to gauge, he declared in July 2015 that his net worth was ten billion dollars, but in July the Federal election regulators reported that his assets were worth approximately 1.4 billion and a debt of at least 265 million. Like so much about Donald Trump it is hard to tell what is real, what is embellished, what is misleading and what is an outright lie. There is a long held belief among people that politicians cannot be trusted, but where you have a candidate who, this early in the Presidential race is giving information to the public that is so contradictory to the
As president, Eisenhower adopted a style of leadership that emphasized the delegation of authority. He filled his cabinet with successful corporate executives whose gave his administration a businesslike tone. Eisenhower’s first priority was to balance the budget of deficit spending. As a moderate on domestic issues, he accepted most of the New Deals programs as a reality of modern life and even extended some of them. During his first two terms in office, social security was extended to 10 million more citizens, the minimum wage was raised, and additional public housing was built. In 1953, Eisenhower consolidated welfare programs by creating the Department of Health, Education, and Welfare (HEW) under Oveta Culp Hobby, the first woman in a
I think that studying the past would be a great thing to not respect issues. Donald Trump is about to become President for the United States and people are worried.
