My name is Sneha Sharma, a junior from St. Mary’s Episcopal School and daughter of Dr. Ruchika Sharma. St. Mary’s is sponsoring a program called Real World 101, which allows juniors to spend a day shadowing someone in a career field of interest and I am interested in hospital administrative work! My mother gave me your email after speaking with Ms. Gregory about me possibly shadowing her on March 3rd. Is it possible to shadow Ms. Gregory anytime that day?
Apart from her academic accomplishments, Dr. Ochoa has dedicated her life to the service of others through medicine and mentorship. “I’ve known since I could remember that I wanted a career with the purpose of helping others. I have this burning passion for service work and I’m extremely lucky to be able to combine it with my love for medicine and education.” When away from the hospital, Dr. Ochoa spends her time mentoring minority and low-income students along with her husband and fellow HSF alum, Mauricio Segovia. Also, wanting to give back to her Latino community, Dr. Ochoa donates to scholarship organizations such as HSF and the New Orleans Hispanic Heritage Foundation Scholarship.

Day 6 for Dana…. Yesterday she was unresponsive and incoherent all day nor did she recognize me. About 8pm last night she started answering back and was aware of what was going on. Her ammonia levels are returning to safe levels, but her kidneys are still below average. Hopefully she did not have a buildup of fluid overnight. We still don’t know if she will be moved to Portland. Keep sharing the link and donating, help keep her smile
She is a member of the ANNA and NKF. She consistently gives blood per the Blood center requirements. This is her second year volunteering at the NKF for kidney screening offered annually at her local YMCA. She has also volunteered at the NKF at the “You’re Kidneys and You” presentation educating the community about kidney disease prevention.

This medical facility is one that is near and dear to me. Not only is this medical facility considered one of the best in treating cancer, but they are renowned for their medical advances in with many diseases. There is one wing of the hospital that I would love to advocate in; the Diabetes, Endocrinology, and Metabolism Center. I have been a diabetic since the age of 13, and I lost both my parents from complications of this silent killer. This center teaches diabetics what to do through education and informative sessions. I have had the pleasure of attending one of their group meetings and I learned so much more than what I thought I already knew. I want to be able to tell others of my strife through my teenage years and how I coped with the temptations of life, which were
As you all know, I have spent all of my professional career at ALSAC/St. Jude. Throughout this time, I have witnessed some amazing things that until this past month I think I have taken for granted. And I am not just referring to the miracles our doctors perform every day for our patients.

Kanye West had definitely caused so much friction due to his recent outbursts. They didn't just affect public's perception about him and his mental state but they also caused drama within their own family. Kris Jenner and Kim Kardashian are reportedly clashing over West's recent meltdowns because Jenner is concerned his issues will hurt their brands. The 60-year-old momager had always been the one who tried to fix things in the Kardashian-Jenner clan.
