The following report will show the similarities and differences between the form and structure of the Yonkers OIG South Broadway Business Improvement District audit and USDA OIG Plant Protection and Quarantine Preclearance Offshore Program audit. Directed by Yonkers’s City Council Resolution No. 52-2008, the Yonkers OIG conducted an operational and financial review of the nonprofit organization call South Broadway Business Improvement District (“BID”). Specifically, the Yonkers OIG audit looked at the facts and circumstances that allowed BID’s former office manager Maria Maquilon to embezzle over $73,000. The United States Department of Agriculture (“USDA”) OIG performed an operational review of the Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service’s Plant Protection and Quarantine program (“PPQ”). Specifically, the USDA OIG assessed the management controls of PPQ.
Begining in1958 the area of Eglinton West was settled by many immigrants from the Caribbean with a large percentage of Jamaicans residents. The 1970s and 80s brought a large wave of Caribbean people to Toronto this created a thriving and vibrant community in Eglinton West. Avondale, once a sleepy Avondale Mills company town that was annexed by Birmingham, is now a hip place to live according to Southern Magazine, complete with trendy restaurants and its own craft brewery. Thrillist calls Avondale Birmingham's Brooklyn, an up and coming neighborhood approximately two miles east of downtown Birmingham that is drawing young professionals to the vibrant area.

In Chicago there were many different ritualistic events and activities in which the people were involved, many of which thousands of people would gather just to hear about. “Two thousand people gathered on the sidewalk and street outside the offices of the Chicago Tribune…” The people were gathered to hear the news about the big fair that was coming up. This fair was deep in the hearts of the Chicago people, just as the superbowl is in the hearts of Americans in today’s world.
The more modern, classic structures of one town can make the older, rustic buildings in the next neighborhood stand out. Elgin is a particular suburb to be well-known for a more of historic atmosphere. Which included landmarks and homes from the Victorian era to be made of cobblestone; also to be named the neighborhood with the most amount of cobblestone houses next to Rochester, New York. In comparison, central St. Charles is home to many strictlymodern homes and town buildings that comfortably accommodates the millions of those that come and go. Additionally, St. Charles is widely known for the nightlife personality that includes a wide variety of bars and local eating establishments.
In conclusion, we were successful for figuring out the assumptions and reality of DC Chinatown. Yes, the area is a lot safer and has more attractions. However, in order to create a safer environment in Chinatown, the DC government has bought off most of the Asian American neighborhoods and small businesses. The people we interviewed assumed that the Asian American population is large or of the majority based on the Asian themed restaurants and businesses. We figured out the Asian American population is not only small, but is decreasing at an exponential rate. The Wizards stadium today used to be houses 20 years ago. RosieApp and Breathe have prime locations that are currently in the midst of the construction. Oak Park, Sacramento is an area known for high rates of crime and low-income households that local residents would agree with. Organizations such as the Sacramento Food Bank and Family Services, the Community Against Sexual Harm (CASH), the Salvation Army, the Sacramento Area Emergency Housing, the Women’s Civic Improvement Club and Wellspring Women’s Center are organizations that work to assist the community during rough times. South Oak Park is part of District 6 in Sacramento, which has the highest total of murder, rape, robbery, aggravated assault, burglary, larceny, and vehicle theft than any other district of Sacramento (“Neighborhood Crime & Maps,” n.d.).
