My Dream Job If I could take any of my passions and turn it into a job I would make a non-profit organization for Criminal Justice. This organization would help people who don’t have a fair trial or they need help with the law without having to pay for everything. Getting a layer can be very expensive and some people cannot afford that, so therefore they have a large disadvantage in the court case. This job would solely be based off of donations and it would help provide jobs for people in the community. In this organization I would make sure that there would be no racial discrimination because that is often a factor in why some people get sent to jail, for their color. Sixty seven percent of the jail population is people who are colored.
When I first started college, my academic goals were to learn as much as possible, join a Christian fellowship, get into the criminal justice program, decide whether or not to go to graduate school, and to graduate in four years. In addition, to also to either get a job or get accepted into an internship. My overall goal was to enjoy and make the most out of my college experience. My career goals back when I was a freshman, were to figure out if I want to join law enforcement or go to law school and find a job in the field of criminal justice, while being happy working the job. Over the course of two years, some of those goals have been achieved and some goals have been changed.
Over the past several years, I have volunteered my time with the Independence Youth Court. It is a diversion court where minors may be arraigned or tried for misdemeanor offenses. As a volunteer, it is my duty to represent these minors as their lawyer or deliberate on their sentences as a judge or the court. As I have volunteered with Youth Court, I have learned that my passion is in law. As I donate my time volunteering with this organization, I am learning more about being a lawyer and a judge while also helping the children of my community. My time with this amazing charity will continue to impact my life as I continue into college to study law and as I become an attorney.
If I were to go into a career in the criminal justice field, I would look into the juvenile justice system. One opportunity to work in the juvenile justice system would be a resident youth worker. This job includes providing safety, security, custodial care, discipline, and guidance to kids who are being held in the facility. A resident youth worker also plays a critical role in the rehabilitation of youth and, therefore, can have a great impact on a juveniles success during and after their incarceration.
Our solution is to develop a specialized not-for profit advocacy group, which focuses on policy change and bridging the gap between local government, non-profits, and the federal government. Furthermore, we will fill the void within these entities with additional resources. Our group will be composed of a full-time paid staff, a board of specialized individuals (ex. Lawyers, professors, government officials), and a network of community volunteers. Our staff will handle the day-to-day operations necessary for an efficiently run business, while our board of specialized individuals will donate their time/services for tasks outside the capabilities of staff members (on an as needed basis). The group of community volunteers will be a tremendous asset to the advocacy group, by providing services to those facing hardship from unemployment. Regardless of a person’s position, paid or unpaid, each member of our advocacy group will work as partners of the organization. It will function as a democratic body, as opposed to the bureaucratic structure mostly seen in government and nonprofit agencies.
Working with the Capital Area Teen Court Program, I represent local teens convicted of minor crimes. The experience has been cathartic. I learn about my clients' lives and passions, and I stand in a courtroom and defend them before a jury of peers. Volunteering as an attorney has improved my communication skills and prepared me for a future in appellate law where I hope to use the legal system to help the voiceless. I want to become a lawyer and one day, I hope to sit on the Supreme Court as an advocate for those who cannot help
I enjoy doing community service and helping others. I have the knowledge and ability to help those who are in major need in a life changing event like a natural disaster; plus I give back a lot with smaller less major
The profession I have chosen in the Police & Law Enforcement category of criminal justice is a Drug Enforcement Administration agent. This job requires dealing with all major drug offenders, such as drug trafficking and major drug trades. DEA agents work for the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration, and their mission is to eliminate the use and sale of drugs in the United States.
Due to unforeseen events, the household income for the family was depleted to the poverty level of $24,600. Due to my interests, I decided to work for a non-profit organization that focuses on education reform and decided to participate in more pro-bono work to be able to increase my experience as a lawyer. I was fired from my previous education reform lawyer position due to layoffs and having just started working at the company, I was an obvious choice. The firm that my wife worked for fired her, and she is currently looking for a job. Since she is a social worker and has a degree in sociology, it is difficult to find jobs that match her interests and pay well enough. As one can imagine, a non-profit organization lawyer does not make as
World War I gifted human race the improvement for a new level of quality of technological origination as well as many deaths as the cost of it. Deaths were common during the bloodbath of war, but humans were not the only ones executed for the glory of antagonistic nations. The truth is one of the first things that is compelled to die for the creation of slander or lies that can also serve as powerful weapons throughout the war. The spiel of the crucifixion of a Canadian soldier is believed to be a lie but served as a strong manipulation factor as
The role of the criminal justice profession is to protect and to serve our society by enforcing the laws that govern us. Those that take the responsibility to defend justice and to uphold the laws that govern us without prejudice are depended on and respected. Our system of criminal justice focuses on the definitions, causes and prevention of crime, along with a legal process that tries to implement methods of treatment and rehabilitation to offenders. The criminal justice system suggests that drug offenders receive treatment through a variety of options, such as sending nonviolent offenders to treatment and using the treatment as a condition of incarceration, probation, or release.
In the short story “The Cask of Amontillado” Poe incorporates some elements of gothic fiction. He uses high and excessive emotion throughout the narration of the story. He also uses an atmosphere of mystery and suspense to keep the reader engaged. In the short story “The Fall of the House of Usher” Poe uses a gothic atmosphere to set the mood of the story. He also uses The Castle element of gothic fiction by portraying a huge haunted mansion.
The criminal justice system has so many areas that interest me. The area that interests me the most is homicide. The reason being is because growing up I use to watch TV shows such as the first 48, Law and Order, and New York City Undercover. These TV shows showed how the criminal justice system works. Some of these shows accurately tell stories of homicide and how law enforcment officers handle the case. I have always been interested in becoming a homicide detective simply so that I can help victims and their family has justice. I feel like the death of a loved one or friend is even harder to deal with when the person who murdered them is still walking the streets. I hope to one day show people that even though the

Another job that criminologist can have research and academia. Many criminologists dedicate their time to being strictly researchers.
Nowadays the most common energy resources come from Fossil Fuel, which according to research it shows that more of 85% of all energy that is consumed in the United States. It takes millions of years for the Fossil Fuel to actually develop and ready to be used, and the main concern of Fossil Fuel is that it cannot be consumed over and over again or reused. Through this analysis it can be assumed that because it takes millions of years for the fossil fuel to develop, and we came up with two assumptions that would lead the innovation of producing energy using different resources. The first assumption is that there is more fossil fuel that is used rather than what is provided or reserved by the nature. This act
