A dream is to envision another life or characteristic that could be better or worse than what the person already has. In the case of most people it is a dream that is positive. People mainly are selfish dreamers who dream only about themselves but there are some who dream about the world or others such as friends and family. Two examples of these types of dreamers are Mama from the play A Raisin in the Sun by Lorraine Hansberry and Martin Luther King Jr.’s speech “I Have a Dream”. In Dr. King’s speech he brings up that his dream is not only for him but for others with the same problem. He is a caring dreamer, one who believes others come first then himself. Mama is also a dreamer of this sort. Her dreams are for her
Dreams, the aspiration and goal of everyone. That is why everyone is wasting their lives. Throughout this unit, we have looked at examples from both sides of this argument and in the end, it was obvious, it is not worth it to dream. While you can achieve your dream despite immense odds, it's not worth it to dream because if you blindly follow a dream you can't accomplish you can waste your life. Circumstances beyond your control can derail your dream and even if you work hard it doesn't always pay off consequently.
Many today believe that the American Dream is dead. Due to issues of the economy and people not caring for eachother. Though they forget what the American Dream is. That dream is a promise of a new life and a better future. Not just for you but for your generations beyond you.

2. The main argument that is presented in "Keeping The Dream Alive" by John Meacham is presented in the article's title. Meacham argues that the only way the American Dream can be kept alive is through people's own free will. He claims that the dream is not as prominent as it was before, and that it is important to revive it. "Our dreams are more powerful when they are shared by others in our time. And we are the only ones who can create a climate for the American Dream to survive another generation, then another and another." (Meacham 39), this text is placed in the last paragraph to demonstrate the author's importance toward this subject. Of how united everyone can help keep the dream alive.

My goal for this project is to plan and make different dreamcatchers. I am not the most creative and crafty person so I am hoping that this project will challenge me. I would like to make a few different styles of dreamcatcher and by the end of this project I would like to have at least three dreamcatchers that will showcase the work I will do. I chose to make dreamcatchers because I am interested in the mythology of dreamcatchers and I love the way that they look. I already had one dreamcatcher at home and thought that if I could make more I can use the dreamcatchers I make instead of going and buying a store bought dreamcatcher.
Building a Dream In life, many things drive an individual in order to help them reach their goals. Some are driven by their own ambition and others may be driven out of greed or the search for acceptance. While there are variations of what people strive for, there are always the main focuses of health, wealth, and love.
The Native Americans said that a spirit talked to an elder of a village and gave the idea of dream catchers to him. The spirit said to the elder, “The web is a perfect circle with a hole in the center. Use the web to help your people reach their goals, making good use of their ideas, dreams and visions. If you believe in the great spirit, the web will filter your good ideas and the bad ones will be trapped and will not pass.” then the narrator telling the story would say, “ The elder passed on his vision onto the people and now many Indian people have a dreamcatcher above their bed to sift their dreams and visions.
Oprah Winfrey once said, “The best thing about dreams is that fleeting moment, when you are between asleep and awake, when you don't know the difference between reality and fantasy, when for just that one moment you feel with your entire soul that the dream is reality, and it really happened.” But, what actually is a dream and what do dreams really have to do with one’s everyday life? In essence, a dream is a series of mental images and emotions occurring during slumber. Dreams can also deal with one’s personal aspirations, goals, ambitions, and even one’s emotions, such as love and hardship. However, dreams can also give rise to uneasy and terrible emotions; these dreams are essentially known as nightmares. In today’s society, the concept
