While she led the administrative works such as identifying projects to support in India and coordinating with the parent chapter in Atlanta, I was tasked with planning events to raise funds. However, I quickly realized that the traditional fund raising methods such as awareness events, charity dinners and proposals might not work in our case, a new foundation.
