West Sacramento is located in Yolo County, California. It shares a border with Sacramento, though they are separated by the Sacramento River. It’s been the industrial centre of the region since the days of the Gold Rush, and is a fast-growing community. Dudleytown is one of the many places, haunted in Connecticut. It is located in Cornwall, Connecticut and not many people really know where this “town” really is. Dudleytown is known for its strange occurrences such as its dead silent woods, demons , and its past town members deaths. This place is also known as the “village of the damned” and is overall well known for its dark history. Many strange things have happened in Dudleytown. It all began with one family and their curse.

Lenoir City tennessee was founded in the early 1800’s by William B. Lenoir. William B. Lenoir was a general in the Battle of King's Mountain and was rewarded 5000 acres of land which to us is now known as Lenoir City TN. Later in General Lenoir's life he dedicated this land to his son Major William B. Lenoir who moved here in the year 1810. Major Lenoir had many successful business going on from his thriving plantation to his well known cattle and hog production in the year of 1821. Before his death in 1852 Major Lenoir also contributed a well producing cotton and flour mill. After Lenoir's death his 4 sons formed William Lenoir and son and controlled 2700 acres of land but later sold it to The Lenoir City Company which later incorporated

Bridgeport is Connecticut’s largest city with a population estimated at 147,629 residents. Located along Long Island Sound at the mouth of the Pequannock River, the city has an area of 19.4 square miles. Bridgeport experiences warm to hot and humid summers and cold, snowy winters. These seasonal extremes are somewhat moderated by Long Island Sound. This results in a lower average temperature in summer and moderate snowfall, as compared to our neighbors inland. The city receives 41.7 inches of precipitation and around 25.6 inches of snowfall in an average year. The East coast originally known as the thirteen colonies, but what did it take to settle the East coast and later on America? Great Britain wanted to take the new land by storm and the king was determined to make money off of the lands natural resources. Unfortunately the geography of the land made it hard to settle Charles Town, its many rivers, rigid mountains, and thick swamps made it nearly impossible to explore this land. This land was described as “flat and woody” making it easy to get lost but That wasn't enough to stop explorers from coming and taking over South Carolina, there first settlement was in Charles Town, the land they had first set foot on. Then they built their first colonies where they would face more problems and make new enemies.

I just started working at Oyster Harbors Club a few weeks ago, but my experience there has been wonderful. It has been an honor life guarding on the beach, and getting to know all the families and the children attending camp. When growing up as a child, children are typically taught their home address, the city where they are from, and the county that they live in. It is important for children to know these things for various safety reasons. The importance of this importance spreads to various ways of life. One important reason of knowing your county is for weather purposes, emergency alert purposes, and for voting purposes.

In the city of Longtown,Ohio,Founded by James Clemens,is a peaceful place where blacks and white did not discriminate each other, or at least it use to be. Now,the people of Longtown are fading from the world and White settlers are buying their land.Longtown was made by James Clemens,a freed slave from the state of Virginia, made this settlement so whites and blacks can live in harmony and peace together,but now that everyone is dying and settlers are buying their land, James’ great grandson,Connor Keiser, is trying to keep the way of life going or in other words Connor Keiser said,” We were the usual Longtown family. Growing up in the city of Detroit then moving out to the Suburbs of West Bloomfield is a huge change. In Detroit I became accustomed to my environment. For the most part we were black. Racial issues didn't come up much because of this. While I understood racism and knew that Blacks were a minority throughout the country. I had never felt what it really felt like to be a minority.

On March 16th, an alleged rape occurs at Rockville High School, in Rockville Maryland. A freshman at the age of 14 was allegedly raped by Jose Montano, age 17 and Sanchez-Milan, age 18. The 2 students who are illegal undocumented immigrants from Central America were enrolled at Rockville High school as freshman. The 2 men lacked English skills for reasoning of their enrollment at a lower grade at their age. The 2 grown men raped the underage girl in the boys bathroom during school hours and were both charged with 1st degree rape. This crime is being seen by many reporters, parents, and legislators across the state. By this incident many schools have started to take extreme precautions to keep students school life safe. By taking these minor steps many students' safety will increase and this incident will also bring justice to the state of Maryland education and immigrant laws.

In days long when many non-whites were racially segregated , and/or discriminated, making a colored community was unthinkable.That was until one man named James Clemens, a freed slave, broke that barrier, and established Longtown Ohio.The uniqueness of the community, though, was that it was a sanctuary for many different races that were unfit for other communities. This was a place where many different races could interact with each other peacefully. If Riverside, or even our country as a whole had this type of ideology, then there is a likelihood that we would all live in harmony, and safety.
