While the North Montgomery, Southmont, and Crawfordsville High School football seasons have been over for many weeks now, the Indianapolis Colts still have a few games left to salvage a broken season. After this season, much like last season, there is some change needed, but this time we should look more inward at the administration. The Indianapolis Colts should fire Ryan Grigson because of is meddling in personal issues, and his inability to let Chuck Pagano handle the day to day business of the team and its players.

It is clear that beverages have become an activity as well as apart of socialisation. Its been described as a social facilitator during interaction and when establishing a connection with others. Data explores that peer group activity has lead to a strong connection of peer experience aligned with intoxication Seaman& Ikegwuonu (2010,p.22). This elaborates the effect of drunkenness. A man or a woman suffers, they have a distinct physical desire to consume alcohol beyond their capacity to control it, regardless of all rules of common sense. The symtoms of being an alcoholic is having rituals and being irritated/annoyed when these rituals are disturbed or commented on. This could be drinks before/during/after meals or after work. Dropping hobbies and activities the person used to enjoy; losing interest in them. A person who abuses alcohol may have many of these signs and symtoms- but they do not have the withdrawal symtoms like an alcoholic does, nor the same degree of compulsion to drink. Then comes along, binge drinking. When a woman consumes over six units and a man consumes more than eight units of alcohol in one sitting. Sipping wine, beer, or spirits three or four times per week increases the risk of binge drinking. Men who drink 22 or more units of alcohol a week have a 20% higher rate of admissions into acute care hospitals than non-drinkers. Healthy young adults who regularly binge drink may have a higher risk of heart disease later in life. "Underage drinking should not be a normal part of growing up. It's a serious and persistent public health problem that puts our young people and our communities in danger. Even though drinking is often glamorized, the truth is that
Reading "To Kill A Mockingbird" is more than just reading a book about race and injustice. This book is a complex, rich exploration of the risk associated with conforming to gender stereotypes, how poverty and class can limit our abilities to achieve the American dream, and how racism damages both those that peritrate it and those that endure it, and the vital importance of expressing our voices by speaking out against injustice WHEREVER we encounter it. And while it certainly is not the only book about race and injustice, it was one of the FIRST books about race and injustice that inspired people to change their behaviors.
In America, drinking is like a sport. It’s an activity, it’s fun and we love to do it. Drinking is all around us, it’s a social norm. We drink at family parties, sports events, restaurants, etc. Almost anywhere there is alcohol beverages being served. Americans are known for being “binge drinkers” or a bunch of “Alcoholics”. This dates all the way back to our founding fathers. Our first president George Washington spent a full 7% of his income while in office on booze. His infamous farewell party tab totaled over $15,000 present-day dollars just on alcohol (Smith 1). John Adams and his family were also big drinkers, Moreau de St. Méry, a
Drinking alcohol in some limit may be considered as normal behavior. However, since drinking quarter of whiskey clearly effects brain and bodily functions, we can say this behavior is abnormal. Possible diagnoses would be substance use disorders. One can be drunk after he or she got divorced, however this is not a sign of mental disorder. However, it is clear that my uncle suffers from every day drinking habit.

That person will drink a lot over a period of time, but when they don’t have that drunk feeling, they will consume the alcohol faster and it can lead to liver problems and loss of brain cells. That is the long term issues. The short term problems, is when that person gets drunk and starts making stupid decisions.
"After drinking people usually feel pleasure and become talkative at first. These feelings are usually replaced by drowsiness as the alcohol is eliminated from the body, and the drinker may then become withdrawn. This pattern often encourages people to drink more to keep the buzz going." ( Net Biz Mentor ). When people get like that they usually get a little bolder and want to do normal tasks and routines like driving a motorized vehicle. The early stages of alcoholism usually go unnoticed by not only friends and family but also the drinker. A person begins drinking in this stage for new reasons such as daily stress or a personal or professional problem. They may drink to change their mood or avoid the one they are currently feeling.
I consider myself a social drinker. The only time I drink is to celebrate a special occasion; for example: birthdays, holiday parties, graduation celebration, end of semester celebration, and etc. However, every once in a while I will go to a happy hour with some friends. I have never been the type of person who likes to drink a lot. I do enjoy drinking every now and then but it will never be something I do on a daily basis. There is no specific reason why I am not a heavy drinker I just choose to be a social drinker.
