This scenario it's really complicate and sad at the same time. She shares responsibility with the three fraternity boys for what happened to her, due to facilitation, precipitation, or provocation. Her actions of irresponsibility on drinking had consequences. She facilitated for them to rape her by drinking too much. However, if she was able to go upstairs to rest and sober up, which means that she wasn't that drunk. She also contributed by going to the room alone instead of going to her place. I do not know think that she provoked.

There is a general feeling that filling in the Drinker Inventory of Consequences an individual responds to a number of events that drinker’s experience. It is a well-crafted strategy that helps to assess the problems caused by alcoholism since it encircles the events within personal life, family relationships, job problems, and financial constraints, problems with the police, belligerence, and others associated with drinking. Although the draft highlights most of the key issues affecting or affected by alcoholism, it also in a small extent invades the privacy of the drinkers. For instance, a person is asked if the sex life is affected by alcohol, change in marriage or love relationships, if a drinker has lost a marriage or a close love relationship. These are supposed to be private/personal issues but are brought up in the survey draft. Consequently, the questions asked are on target for clients
At the University of Oklahoma, drinking in the dorms is not tolerated by school administration because OU is considered a dry campus. A three strike policy is in place in order to deter students from consuming alcohol in the dorms or anywhere on campus. However, the issue seems is that freshman students do not fully understand the impact of the three strikes and continuously drink in their dorms due to the low likelihood of getting caught. Drinking in the dorms has been going on ever since I arrived at OU and I am certain it has been happening for many years now.

Arbetter (1990) describes the family rules in alcoholic families to be; do not talk, do not trust, and do not feel. Additionally, he communicated that children do not trust their own instincts because of the inconsistency within the system (Arbetter, 1990). Physical and mental abuse were used to enforce the first rule, do not talk via the message, shut up, and fall in line. Repeated patterns of lying combined with her father’s absence demonstrated the second rule, which was do not trust. Furthermore, withholding statements of affection occurred even when requested directly, communicating the family’s “no emotion” rule. Consequently, this normalized a rule that regarded physical and mental abuse is as love. This rule followed Tonya into her toxic relationship with Jeff, due to isolation. Detrimentally, Tonya was withheld from all exterior influence that may have educated her that the abuse is not appropriate. LaVonna made it clear that friends, boyfriends, or anything enjoyable was an unnecessary distraction. All time and energy were to be directed at skating and

I understand that, at least for me at the time, drinking was a way of connecting with friends, to socialize with strangers, and to alleviate the shyness. But in hindsight, I noticed there was a change from wanting to needing a drink. It was a way to deal with the tree of work and life itself. Years later now my wife and son are in the picture, I do my best not drink "that much" at home, but still finding a myriad of excuses to do so.
