If you are a parent who wants to help keep your child's teeth healthy, then you likely know that they need to get enough fluoride. While fluoride toothpastes provide your child's teeth with some fluoride, systemic fluoride is also important, as it is doesn't just coat teeth, but instead keeps teeth healthy from the inside out. One of the biggest challenges of polluted third world countries is the lack of suitable drinking water. However, a woman named Theresa Dankovich created a water purification system called The Drinkable Book. The book has 25 pages of silver nanoparticles which releases silver ions that neutralize disease. The pages were tested in five different countries, and reportedly eliminated almost all of the bacteria.
Water is a very important commodity to live. Some people say it’s a right, but others at as if it’s a privilege, and as a result, people lack it. The human body is about sixty percent water, but in what I have seen just in my twenty years of life, people do not drink merely enough of it. Instead, water has been replaced as a go-to drink by things like milk, coffee, pop, or energy drinks, but natural energy lies in water. With water we can be more energized, awake, and of course, hydrated, which all together collaborate to help us flourish, stay healthy, and live long. It’s most of the earth’s surface, too; water’s all around us, but we neglect it and deny its crucial place in our health and humanity.
While drinking bottled water might seem healthier, studies have shown that the U.S. FDA regulations allow some contamination of fecal material and E. Coli in the water bottles (All Filters). Kids are taught that bottled water is purified, and for that reason far healthier than regular tap water. Though this is not completely true. People are constantly exposed to different advertisements displaying bottled waters like Aquafina and Dasani. But what they do not say is that the water is not actually what they think it is. Studies have shown that most bottled water is actually 40% tap water (Mercola). So even if Americans are trying to avoid tap water, chances are they are still drinking it unaware of what they are really drinking. Americans deserve the right to know exactly what they are putting in their bodies,
"Every year, 8 million metric tons of plastic end up in our oceans." (Lytle) As a result of discarded water bottles many marine lives are affected every day. There are many issues that affect our everyday life, events which are as small as money for gas to as big as the environment's health. The choice to use tap water or bottled water may be small to some but a big problem to others. Not only does tap water have many benefits, it also does not create the harmful aftermath that bottled water does. Tap water is a better choice in the long run because it improves the environment, is good for people's health and is financially a better choice.
Boom Contaminated! The local water supply is undrinkable. This seems to be the gossip every few months in Bradford County. Which has swayed me in the direction a fan of bottled water over tap water. Bottled water has several benefits over tap water; bottled water has created jobs, is effortless portable, and very useful during emergencies.
You have a sore throat and you NEED WATER and you go to the tap BUT NO WATER comes out you haven’t paid your water bill. This is just one of the reasons, why Bottled water should not be banned.
One question which has puzzled individuals for decades is. “how much water should I drink every day?” The Institute of Medicine, suggests adult men consume approximately 3.0 litres of water. They suggest adult women drink approximately 2.2 litres of water daily. These figures coincide with the popular myth that individuals consume eight glass of water, per day. This translates to 1.9 litres of water.
People buy bottled water for many reasons, some such as its does not contain any calories and it has a refreshing taste. So then why are people banning it? People are banning bottled water because someone has recently found out that that Aquafina Water is actually came from the same source as tap water. Is it just Aquafina that is doing this tho? No it is not after the information about Aquafina has been released many more water bottled companies have came out and said that almost 25% of bottled water is actually tap water.
Imagine you're in a natural disaster cold sad scared your water lines have been cut down but bottled water to the rescue…. Oh but wait you banned it…... then BAM! You're dead is that really what you want I don’t think so, this is one of the reasons we should keep bottled water in waunakee
Technology is anything that makes human civilization easier and/or corrupted. Technology has been shaping our culture for over 100 years and it has no signs of slowing down. There are certain inventions that we are unable to live without; that in the long run may cause harm to us. The particular technology that I am speaking of is bottled water.
Access to clean drinking water, piped directly into one’s household is not an option for millions households living in middle- and low-income countries. According to a 2015 World Health Organization (WHO) report, only 58 percent of the world’s population receives their drinking water from a piped connection which goes directly into their homes (WHO/UNICEF 2015). Households that leave their home to collect water rely on water sources that provide varying quality of drinking water. The WHO/UNICEF Joint Monitoring Programme (JMP) defines improved drinking water sources as those constructed to provide protection from outside contaminants, specifically fecal matter (WHO 2012). However, having access to an improved drinking water source does not
Water is essential for agricultural production, and natural tap water is the best choice for the watering needs associated with agriculture. Whether it is through irrigation to provide crop water requirements, or is largely supplementary to existing watering measures, using tap water over using bottled water is the only sensible way to accomplish meeting the demands necessary for the watering needs of agriculture. Imagine all of the time, energy, effort, and labor involved with the inconvenient method of watering crops, livestock, and other areas of agriculture with bottled water. Using the bottled water for this purpose would be impractical, especially when the much simpler and obvious method of using tap water exists. When looking at cost comparisons involving agriculture, it is economically cheaper to use tap water than it is to use bottled water. Of course, this savings in water usage is to the advantage of the farmer. For all of these reasons, I believe using natural tap water is the best option for water usage in agriculture.
Water is a substance that is in great abundance on this planet and life almost certainly originated from it. It is required for multiple purposes and explains several day-to-day mechanisms (Chemical Elements and Water, 2007). The biological significance of water in the human body alone is 70% therefore demonstrates how crucial it is.
How many of you, when you go to a restaurant and the waiter/waitress asks you what you want to drink ask for water?
