The varieties and large portions of food seemed to have a meaning beyond consumption itself. As people carry to go boxes and not even open or taste some of the food during their stop, the food loses its meaning of being eaten and gains a meaning of being a souvenir. The cultural food alone provokes customers to want to keep these seemingly authentic, home cooked items, perhaps to share or give to others as novelties and gifts. With that, Buc-ee’s intends to provide more than necessary.

My most favorite of all time restaurants to dine at is The Cheesecake Factory. This restaurant is a famous corporate chain of restaurants that offers a widespread variety of all types of American dishes and of course specializes in the most amazing variety of the best tasting cheesecakes. I love the experience of dining at the Cheesecake factory because the atmosphere is so welcoming and the artwork on the ceilings make you feel very lavish, the food is great and the service is excellent. A particular visit last month proved to me that Cheesecake factory lives up to the expectations of its guests.

Sipping on iced-cold sweet tea, I watch multiple waiters gather up and begin line dancing to loud country music that plays in the background. By the time im almost halfway through with my beverage and almost full due to the warm, freshly baked rolls, a smiling waitress brings my family our food. She kindly places down our meal, tells us to enjoy and leaves to let us chow down. Resting on the plate in front of me is a thick, juicy piece of rib eye steak thats paired with loaded mashed potatoes and freshly cooked vegetables. They provide excellent food complimented by great service and the unique atmosphere of the restaurant is full of energy and always has some type of entertainment going on.

My favorite sit-down restaurant is Texas Roadhouse. I don’t eat out much with my family except once a year for our anniversary when we go to Texas Roadhouse. Once we are seated it usually takes about a couple minutes for our waitress to introduce herself and take our drink order. They will usually give us a couple minutes to look over the menu and decide what we would like to order. Luckily I usually receive a coupon in the mail for a free appetizer and we usually will order one such as the cactus onion. Once we order the appetizer arrives first with our drinks or a little after. For our meal it usually takes about fifteen to twenty minutes to receive. Logan’s Roadhouse in Franklin, Tennessee is a wonderful spot for family meals. Portions are generous and hearty, with prices that are very reasonable. All of the food is southern inspired and is made from scratch so that Logan’s Roadhouse feels like a second home. The venue is open every day of the week and serves both lunch and dinner.

Many people use gas stations, while on vacation and road trips. People do not only stop to get gas at these stations but also to use the stations facilities and get something to eat. For instance, while on vacation if someone was on a tight schedule, the person could save time by stopping at a gas station for fuel and something to eat. Joe's Crab Shack is my favorite restaurant. Joe's is a casual dining, beach-themed restaurant, with many different types of crabs and other under the sea delicacies. Although, the restaurant is closing soon, but I believe I can convince the owners to reconsider. They have many choices of crab, shrimp, lobster, you name it! They cook it to perfection, serving a variety of sides. They also have a kids menu for the children, and a bar for the adults. Joe's crab Shack is a restaurant for all ages, filled with amazing food. Therefore, this restaurant should stay open.

The restaurant usually gets so busy on weekends that you will not have a space to park your car. If you want, you are welcome to park in the back, but it is a long walk to the entrance. The food is worth the walk, and many people do not mind because they love bringing their families to this restaurant on weekends. It is one of the best buffets in Omaha. They offer not only great service, but a fun atmosphere for eating with friends or family, and at a reasonable price.
