Who are we?
The call of May16 began from a high school website known as “idunno.org,” a page that primarily updates the school board and calendar of Dunno High School, where students were informed that there will be no late start on Wednesday, May 16. Every Wednesday, there is a late start which pushes the schools starting bell from 7:50 a.m. to 8:58 a.m., allowing students to sleep well and have more time for themselves in the morning. After hearing the news, the students of Dunno High School created the facebook page “Students of Wednesday” to protest against the school’s dismissal for late start.
Why protest?
Since there is no late start on Wednesday, May 16, most students will either show up like zombies walking through the hallways or forget that there is no late start, causing them to wake up pass the schools starting bell and be marked absent by their teachers. Late start is very beneficial to a student because it allows them more time to sleep and may prevent them from snoozing in class. Also, late start provides students with more time to do their homework in the morning instead of completing all their assignments in one day or the last minute.

There is an issue here in the U.S to most people. You may or may not be having this issue and you may or may not agree with this issue. But, there is a problem with school times. Some students are going to school too early, and this can lead to some issues. Students will have worse health and have worse academics if school times are early in the morning.

These are my plans to succeed in the rest of the 8th grade school year.
A time in my life when something bad turned out to be good was the middle of eighth grade when i wasn’t do well in my classes. This situation was bad because my grades weren’t good, and I wasnt doing the homework. One day in class , the teacher gave me a note from the office that said the principal wanted to talk to me. When I got to his office he was telling me that my grades were really low and I had to attend the after school program for forty days if I wanted to walk the stage for eighth grade promotion. From that day on I realized how important it was to be doing my homework if I wanted to succeed in school. After like a month my grades started to improve to B’s and it made me so proud of myself. It made me proud because, I was able to

Yay I'm so glad I'm in 4th grade.” These are some reasons why I like 4th grade One reason is because of the parties. We get to eat treats, and have drinks, and play games. I'm personally the best at bingo I get a little rambunctious playing bingo so watch out I might tear your card in half.” rip” Another it is because one time I my class and had Day.” which means pajamas” all the girls move their desks into a circle and we played board games, with such a blast. sometimes a teacher let's just have parties for fun. One time we had a celebration for being good and we went outside and had ice cream floats.” Yummy” another reason fourth grade rock is because of the activities. once I had to climb up a tree and act like a monkey because that's
I’ve learned a lot of things that I’ve never learned before in the 10th grade. There even a lot of things my mom even taught me. The subjects I did in the 10th grade were Algebra and a little bit of Geometry, U.S. History, World Literature, English writing, Home Economics, Religion, and Human Anatomy. In this essay I’m going to write about what I learned during 10th grade.
My year in the sixth grade was cool. We always got to play games in one of our teacher's class every last Friday of the month. On special days, we have more recess time and get to do lots of fun activities. The bad thing about my school is when you get into bad trouble bad things will always happen to some of us.
Do you understand the importance of acknowledging our children’s world they live in? Do you understand the importance of fighting this misinformation with education? It is our job to protect our children and help them grow and develop into capable citizens. Our highest hopes are that they grow up to be happy, healthy, and capable citizens. If we do not provide education about pornography, then our children are going to be in unhealthy relationships expecting unrealistic things about themselves and their partner (Weber et al., 2012). We all want our children to grow up and be happy. Limiting them of this education on pornography is hindering their future. It’s unacceptable to let anyone hinder our children’s bright future.
Math used to be my favorite subject in elementary school. It used to be so simple where the equations used were clear to understand and proving your answer by showing work did not take too much time. Going into middle school things changed and became way too complicated. You had to learn equations to use for different problems and know which situation called for which equation to use. I got my first taste of Algebra in middle school. Things became more difficult in high school. I struggled in Geometry, Algebra II, Pre-Calculus, and the science classes that were based on math. Physics was the hardest class because of the equations. It didn’t help that I could not see how to apply the math in the real world while being a teenager. In
My 7th grade experience was pretty bad because I kept getting in trouble. The only reason why I came to Actis was because I got into a fight at Thompson, and my mom decided that she wasn’t going to let me go back there. When I came here I did not know what to expect. The most thing I liked about 7th grade was seeing everyone I went to school with in the past years, and also getting a new start with new teachers and new friends. In 7th grade I did not like how many of my friends turned on me. It was like I was sharing information with people I called my family and they was getting everything I was telling them and telling people my business.
When I was younger, I went to a large populous school- Lincoln Elementary. For years I dreaded waking each morning just to attend a day full of bullying and abuse. I used to draw pictures of my dream: the dream of having friends that I could play with, having a life full of happiness. Although kids in my fourth grade class made it significantly difficult for me to be joyful that year, they were incapable of killing my hope that one day I would be well appreciated to someone.
I'm sorry. I'm sorry for rushing everything. I'm sorry for taking you away from the precious time that you have left with your friends in high school. And I'm sorry if I gave the impression that I was going to leave you before college. None of this was my intent and I'm sorry that it ended up that way. I miss you. I miss you in my arms. I miss the way we used to talk, where we had all the respect in the world for each other. I just can't accept that our relationship has been broken. I've waited 5 long years to be with someone as amazing and caring as you, and I cant let that slip away like this. I hate myself for sending this but I just couldn't hold it in any longer. This is how I truely

“It was a heavily awaited day.” I said. We had been waiting for this day for the entire academic year. That day was like a reward for the struggles that the students had experienced in the course of the year, from deadlines, to punishments, to homework all of which would be compensated for by the teachers on this one day. “Kids, the day was… Prank Day.” The day in which students have the authority to pull the ugliest, meanest and the scariest pranks on any person that they aspire to. The day was dreaded my teachers and awaited by the students. This was the only day in the year when the teachers were considered inferior to the students. I remember how I was up the night before waiting for my alarm to ring so that I could rush out of my bed and
