High school is about becoming your own person, creating a new image for yourself and establishing your personality. Dyeing your hair can be a fun, creative and harmless way to express yourself. Hair is not forever, it is a renewable resource, and it will grow out and you can always dye it a different color. The one dyeing their hair is the one that deals with whatever the consequences may be, not the parents. Making this decision for myself now will better my experience for making more considerable decisions as an adult and in the future. “Let them be free when they’re supposed to be. Before the world comes down and puts restrictions on them” - JH (circleofmoms.com). Additionally, kids have to have fun while they can and do what they want
Randy said that kids want their parents to say no to them. Kids want their parents to set limits, lay down the law, and give them something solid to stand on.
The Harlem Renaissance was a vibrant cultural and intellectual movement that expressed African American art, music, and literature. Many prominent writers of the time, captured different ideas of the Renaissance in their work. Contrary to these other artists, Hurston uses more unique forms of expression in his Renaissance writings. Hurston uses the core ideas of this time period to accurately depict the African American experiences during this time period, while simultaneously departing from these ideas. In "How It Feels To Be Colored Me," Zora Neale Hurston's novel diverges from the ideas of the Harlem Renaissance in several ways.
1. Is it permanent? No, there is no permanent hair color. Some colors last longer than others, but all can be easily washed out in a few days with hot water.
I have chosen option 1 it is $900.17 more expensive than option 2 because my family has been here two times before and we find it fun and we have relatives living over there in Brisbane. We are flying for 3 hours with food and entertainment which is better for our family than driving for 8 hours if we were doing the South Island trip.Although we will still have to be in the airport 2 hours earlier the positives still outweigh the negatives. If chose option 2 we would have to stop for food which will cost us an extra $100 we all get tired and sick of driving and we also might get carsick which is horrible. My parents will get exhausted from driving where as we will not have to spend that extra $100 on food driving. Flying my parents can relax
I agree that teens should be allowed to roam freely online because is actually a very effective learning too. Also, if parents support their teens’ free online roaming, it may help improve communication between parents and their teens.
People are trying to not let them do activities because they may get hurt. This is just how life is and the parents have to except that there are some things that they can not keep their children from getting hurt. It even said in the video about banning dodgeball are making the soft and parents are wanting to coddle them and not let them get hurt. Every child gets hurt and this will be how life is and if people are trying to coddle them then they may not be ready for the real world. There are a lot of dangerous jobs and people in the real world so parents can not hide the children from getting hurt, people just have to let kids be
I don’t agree with parents being able to disrespect you, call you names and act like it ’s okay. You as the child aren’t allowed to say anything back and basically have to stand there letting your parents yell and bully you. I don’t find that fair at all.
In “ The Case for Free-Range Parenting,” an article in The New York Times, Clemens Wergin discusses should children go out without parents or older people supervision. Wergin said parents don’t need to be with their children when they go out, and he thinks it can help child easier to fit in a new community. However, that is illegal in U.S, and most American children spent their free time at home. Today children have no freedom in their childhood because most parents are taking their children with them everywhere they go, but it is even danger then let their children roam freely. Also, give more freedom to children they will easier to control their anger and fear than the kids that have no freedom. At the end, Wergin thinks child desire freedom because they will have more confidence and know how to face risks.

Have you thought ever of a dystopic world or ever read a book that sounds like it. Will in the past couple days we have read a book named ¨Gathering Blue¨ This book would make the hairs on the back of your head stand.
It is important that we protect children and young people for them to enjoy life, and if you do that then they are more likely to reach their full potential later on in life.
In today's world many kids are too coddled by their parents and schools and I agree. Parents coddle their kids by taking them out of test and not challenging them. Schools baby them by making sure no one is left out in games and banning certain clothing. If parents and schools don’t stop treating their kids in this manner, they are going to have a harsh time when they grow
Freedoms in the home vary. The freedoms given to children depend on the parents. Some parents allow children to pick out their own outfits. Other parents don’t. Some parents will pick out outfits when their child is younger, but then they might let the child decide what to wear when they get older. Other examples of freedoms include letting a child choose their own friends and letting them make plans. Many of the freedoms in the home change as the child gets older. Children may gain certain freedoms when they are a teenager, but also lose certain others. Parents also have freedoms, such as planning meals and making curfews. Parents also have the freedom to punish a child for breaking a rule, or doing something they are not supposed to. When a child breaks a rule, such as staying out past curfew, freedoms can be taken away. Maybe they can’t hang out with their friends for two weeks, or they can’t use their phone until their homework is done. Then, after a certain amount of time, they can gain these freedoms back. This can happen more than once, hence why freedom needs to
Imagine walking through town, each turn you take, you see an explosion of colors, making your mind overwhelmed with a strong desire to know what you are seeing. This eye-catching wonder is graffiti, and believe it or not graffiti is being turned down by our world, and the artists in their community are being charged for their creations. Our community needs to accept these artists and not punish them for their art, reason being that art is all around us and no matter how hard people try, they can not stop artists from doing what they love.
When parents get pushed around by their kids that is not good because the kids can do anything that they want to do. Some kids have parents that have rules some don’t. Most kids get
