I would advise the CEO that to better serve the company’s desire we would start with a strategic plan by setting goals and objectives. It would be best to elicit the opinions of every staff member on how they feel about the company’s goal. After listening to the staff opinions on how best to implement the goals, a plan is to be put in place detailing the steps by steps on how to achieve each tasks. I would emphasize to the CEO the importance of setting goals and communicating them effectively to the staff members, especially those who will be the managers. Additionally, the CEO is to consider the needs of each individual in the company. It is important to address both the task and the needs of the employees ( Phillips & Gully, 2014).
When all the deliverables, customer requirements and\or goals have been met in a project, in other words, at the closing of a project the Project Manager is responsible for compiling and delivering a Final Project Report, known as a Project Closure Report. A good project closure report will summarize the entire project from the beginning project plan and scope information to the lessons learned from the project. It should also include other information such as the changes to the project scope if there were any, the final project budget reconciliation, and “a recap of the performance metrics taken during the project; the budget and schedule reconciliations will provide the final
The study will be a single-centered, crossover, randomized control trial which will aim to determine which foot condition, barefoot or shod, allows for best performance of the SEBT. The dependent variable is reach distance. The independent variable is the differing foot conditions, barefoot versus shod. The SEBT will produce continuous, ratio data measured in centimeters. A quantitative primary research approach will be used as quantitative measurements allow for statistical comparison between variables, which will allow the hypothesis to be accepted or rejected (Barker et al., 2016). 1:1 block randomization will be used in this study, with participant being randomly assigned to either barefoot or shod first groups of equal sizes using the crossover design. Randomization
The State Public Utility Commissions is represented by NARUC which is responsible for utility services (electricity, gas telephones) in different states.(4)
Over the years, there have been several studies published on the health effect of yogurt and the bacteria that companies use to produce yogurt. There have been studies done on animals and humans to investigate the benefits. According to The American Journal of Clinical Nutrition, “the United States uses lactic acid producing bacteria known as (LAB) which

The Arizona Legislature is now at day 32, which is more than 30% of the way towards the “mythical” 100-day legislative session. Arizona is one of a few states whose legislature has no constitutional or statutory end date. The Legislature starts the year off with a rule stating session shall last 100 days, the rule is often amended and the 100-day goal missed.
The advantages of the use of secondary data in needs assessment, design and implementation of intervention measures, and policy changes are numerous. Secondary data are less expensive, this implies that time, money and other resources are saved (Healey & Zimmerman, 2010). My focus for this discussion is Case Study 2, which addressed the health needs assessment of the Waupaca County. Waupaca County, Wisconsin is a rural community of over 50,000 residents (Gilmore, 2012). Given that, it is a popular tourist location, and the survey given had a clause of “do not complete if you are not a city resident”, there exists a chance that all data obtained by primary sources might not be without errors, as tourists might erroneously fill out the survey. Consequently, the secondary method I will apply to collection of data is the use of the American Fact Finder from the United States Census Bureau (n.d.).
Having identified all the above challenges and illnesses, the following goals have been formulated to help improve the health condition of the patient.
The preoperative procedure of using with chlorhexidine-alcohol (CHG) before surgery has been proven to be more effective to reduce the number of surgical site infections (SSI) than the use of povidone iodine. By reducing the number of infections post surgery, it can lower patient morbidity and can reduce hospital stay time and eliminate further unnecessary costs.
I would advise Carolyn to study the makeup of our changing nation and evidence of this as seen in our neighborhoods. She should make an effort to learn more about the new cultural groups moving into the community and school so that she is informed and better able to serve the changing community. It’s not enough just to know which groups comprise the community, but she should learn the customs and provide communication in different languages as well. However, it’s not just Carolyn that needs to make this effort, her staff needs to do the same and purposely include all groups within the school atmosphere. The knowledge that the school leaders are willing to make an extra effort to learn about different cultural groups, new students, and their
a.The most challenging aspect of working in protective services for me will be separating abuse from mistakes or lack of knowledge. For example, a parent may forget to check their child’s diaper for a few hours, leading to a severe diaper rash. This may be very painful for the child, but would not technically be abuse so long as it is not repeated regularly. The same type of mistakes can and will be made when it comes to caring for the elderly and those with disabilities. Nobody that should be in charge of caring for another adult would ever do something to harm them intentionally, but we are all human and make honest mistakes. The difficult part will be determining if the elderly or disabled adult would be better suited in a different living
Some critical components to have when discussing strategic planning is the vision, mission, and values. Initially, a manager starts with strategic planning that gives them a long term goal that will help plan out their next five years. "Top manager such as Chief Executive Officer, general manager, president, vice president, and division heads all set the primary direction of the company."( Kinicki and Williams, page 143) In Figure 5.3, it mentions " managers need to pay attention to the environment outside the organization, deal with uncertain and highly competitive conditions, and aware of future orientation."( Kinicki and Williams, page 143). Strategic planning is important because it helps determine what to expect or what timeline they imagine for the company progression. When strategic planning, the goals should have broad ideas, ways to achieve the goals, time frame, and what growth they plan on accomplishing. Society is ever changing in technology and making a five-year goal is meaningful, but, if possible, speeding up the program would help launch the goal at a quicker pace. Strategic objectives are useful for management to help "focus on goals for the
In light of the key aspects (leadership, management, structure and culture) and using the assessment tools I have to make a plan for what I should do as a CEO.
In order to set an ideal business, the first thing a CEO needs to know is the “dream” of the company: what is the goal for our company in a period of time? The goal should be realistic and have some difficulties to achieve, because if it is too easy to reach, the employees will not try their best, and the company cannot develop. To set the goal, the CEO needs to discuss with the directors of each department and ask about their advice. They do not need to provide a complete plan. Instead, they need to tell the CEO what are their ideal markets and results for their departments. After summarizing their ideal models, he needs to create the ideal business for the company and discuss it with the shareholders. Sometimes, the shareholders can be unrealistic, so the CEO needs to convince them that their ideal business should be realistic and
