-The EPA is all about helping and protecting nature and our selves, they have passed many laws to keep us safe. Some of these laws include: C.A.A., or the Clean Air Act. This is a Federal law they passed to make sure we’re not releasing too much emission into the air, or releasing really bad things. Another law they have passed is the C.W.A., or Clean Water Act, this is also a Federal law, it protects our water systems from getting infested with pollution and toxic chemicals, without this we could lose our fishing

The Equal Pay Act of 1963 is in place to make it so men and women are paid the same if they are performing the same jobs. It gives equality in the workplace between men and women.

The environmental protection agency has been stepping up its mandate of ensuring safer and better environment for not only the business operators, buts also the society as a whole. In order to achieve this goal of environmental protection, there has been the creation of environmental protection agency that has ensured that all the businesses, irrespective of their size and type, strive to ensure that the environment is protected for the benefit of current and future generations.

The citizen suit provision of the Clean Water Act is an important tool to protect and improve rivers, creeks, streams, and wetlands especially as state agencies may not have the resources to conduct regular water quality monitoring on every water body. The Equal Pay Act of 1963 was influential in creating a progressive environment which would contribute to creating a fairer world for all. Diesel is going to be the fuel that will control the world just like gasoline is today. Clean diesel is something that seems unreachable but it is closer than people think. Diesels now are Cleaner than ever and it it going to out do any other form of power for cars. Although other fuels and forms of power produce no emissions, diesel engines can be made to produce less harmful pollutants and be more efficient. There may be a few negative characteristics about diesel engines. But, the positive characteristics that they have out weight the bad things about them. To keep the diesels clean the process of how they work needs to be known.

The current global population of 7.6 billion people is expected to reach 11.2 billion in 2100 (UN DESA), and as the Earth’s population continues to grow exponentially, the topic of environmental sustainability is being debated with increased urgency. In the past few years, many large-scale environmental issues have emerged due to human activities: climate change, air and water pollution, rising sea levels, habitat loss, species extinction, and worsening natural disasters are all becoming more and more prevalent. But perhaps our most immediate concern should be whether or not we will be able to continue feeding this ever-increasing population.

One problem that Americans are facing is the inequality between men and women, whether it is in everyday life or in a professional atmosphere. One step that has been taken toward equality was introduced with the Equal Pay Act of 1963, signed by President John F. Kennedy. This law was the first affecting the amount of job opportunities available for women and allowing them to work in traditionally male dominated fields. On the outside, this would sound like a solution where nothing could possibly go wrong, but it is not.

With the same exemption as Merit System, Seniority Plans are also exempt which means that a company that ties pay notes to seniority can pay a man more if he has been with the company longer than the female co-worker. In conclusion the EPA indicates that any other factor other than sex may be used to justify different pay rates (Gomez-Mejia, Luis R.). Industries of commerce and productions of goods for commerce have depressed wages and standards of living based on sex which resulted in the declaration of purpose. The EPA is necessary for every one’s health and efficiency. The purpose of declaration is that discrimination of sex in the work force prevents the most efficient level of labor resources, causes problems with in the labor force, prevents and burdens commerce and symbolizes an unfair competition between individuals. This is one of the reasons why the EPA is created to solve these complications. If employers use sex discrimination in the work force they will face penalties. Some penalties are fines and imprisonment, employers are liable for damages done to the employee, employer must pay wages and compensation that was held from the employee and the employer must provide savings provisions (“The Equal Pay Act of 1963”). Preventing sex pay discrimination is just one way that Equal Employment Opportunities Commission is trying to make everyone equal.

Your day has been great so far. You went on vacation, you found a dollar bill on the floor, you ate your favorite dish, nothing can be better than this. As soon as you walk on the boardwalk you are hoping to see big waves and fish in the sea, instead, you see dead fish and some animals floating in the water next to old car tires, trash, and fertilizer. Now you feel terrible and want to go home. Pollution is devastating. The reason why I researched this topic is that I do not want my family nor my planet to get sick. Pollution can be stopped very easily, it’s just that people “don’t know” how to stop or they just don’t care, which is a serious problem. I want people to see that pollution is mainly caused by humans, and also for them to see that it is a horrible thing that is happening. Some kids litter because they see their parents and their whole family doing it. When I was researching this topic, I noticed that I needed to find out more information, so I asked questions to myself. When did pollution get so bad? How many animals have gone extinct because of pollution? How many people die each year because of pollution? How much does everyone on the planet pollute each year? What is the best way to stop pollution? Can just one person make a difference? After a lot of research, I found out lots of ways that we can stop pollution, so it is possible to end it. Or at least improve the air.

Air pollution is invisible to the human eye. To see it, special equipment from Nasa or other research facility would be required. But just because it’s not visible, does not mean it’s not present. Air pollution surrounds humans daily. It is caused by motor vehicles, planes, ships, energy plants, and much more. Humans cannot just take away automobiles or the energy plants. And humanity cannot eliminate all the pollution in the air. But pollution can be reduced to the point where it will decrease the number of stoke, asthma, and lung cancer. Society can reduce air pollution by making better use of vehicles, planting more trees, and decreasing energy use.
